"Take my heart, I need you so." - Modern Talking
Lando
My eyes are trained on Bianca, who is in the center of the dance floor at Lydia and Charles' wedding. All of the non-married women are standing around waiting for Lydia to toss her bouquet, and some of them look ready to take people down just to get it. It's a strange tradition if you ask me just like the garter toss.
Bianca catches my eye and I raise my eyebrows questioningly, wondering if she's going to try to catch it and she winks. Fuck, she's perfect and I want nothing more than to make her my wife. She's absolutely glowing lately and more beautiful than ever. A part of me wants her to catch it; or maybe I just want her to want to catch it.
We haven't talked much about getting married since I originally suggested it two months ago, but she's been dropping hints to me that she's ready for me to propose. She's been putting in the work with her therapist and she seems more secure than I've ever seen her. There's no longer any hint of questioning when I tell her how much I love her, and I know she has finally realized I'm not going anywhere. I know she wants me to propose, but I want it to be special because she deserves the best. So I'm waiting.
My thoughts turn back to the bouquet toss since the crowd has gotten louder and they are now counting down from five. Lydia is lifting the bouquet up and down at each number and finally releases it high into the air as everyone yells one. Hands fly into the air as the bouquet flies towards the group of women and I can't help but laugh when I see Bianca's face when she realizes it's flying right towards her. She has one hand protectively wrapped around her baby bump and her other hand in the air grasping eagerly towards the bouquet. Morgan and Kelly are surrounding her, forming somewhat of a protective ring around her.
It's chaos when the bouquet lands in the sea of hands and it's hard to tell who has control over the bouquet. Finally the group begins to dispurse and I see Bianca smiling triumphantly as she holds the bouquet in her hand high up in the air. She whoops with joy as Morgan and Kelly hug her happily and I realize they must have been helping her get the bouquet rather than for themselves. Bianca looks so happy and the moment her eyes find mine I break out into a wide smile. She starts making her way over to me and I meet her half way.
"You know, just because you caught this, doesn't mean I'm going to propose." I murmur in her ear cheekily as I wrap my arms around her and bring her body flush to mine. She smacks me gently with the bouquet and I laugh.
"Why not?" She asks breathlessly and I pull back so I can see her face. Her eyes are pleading with me and I have to bite my lip to stop myself from actually proposing; it's clear that we both want it, but it's not the right time.
"I didn't catch the garter." I murmur cheekily and she rolls her eyes. The men had just done the garter toss a few minutes prior to the bouquet and George caught it because he's a competitive bastard who I swear has the limbs of Elastigirl. Bianca frowns and I know she's remembering him pushing me out of the way to get it.
"But I'm ready now...for you to propose. I want to be Mrs. Norris. Why can't I be Mrs. Norris?" She whines, her eyes begin to glisten and my heart clenches in my chest. She's killing me. I wrap my arms around her again and kiss the crook of her neck before whispering in her ear.
"It will happen, love. You just have to be patient." Then I kiss her neck again and she groans. I'm not sure if it's from being annoyed or from being turned on. I get my answer when she tugs on my hair, pulling my head so we are eye to eye and then she's kissing me.
I moan with satisfaction when she sticks her tongue into my mouth and deepens the kiss. She's been insatiable lately, and my newest favorite game is to see how fast I can make her come since everything is so much more sensitive now. My hands find her ass and she moans deeply as her body melts further into mine. I know that if I were to reach under her dress she'd be soaked for me and with one touch she'd be coming apart.
