Blair's POV (you can pretend its also your name)
One side of my head was throbbing. My throat was dry. My body was stiff. My limbs ached. I coughed. I heard rustling. And forced my eyes to open. A boy with light brown hair was sitting in a chair by my bed. His eyes were closed. I coughed again. His eyes fluttered open. I sat up. We locked eyes. His eyes were blue. He got out of the chair and took a step closer. I pressed against the wall. I didn't know this boy. And I didn't know how I got here. He stopped moving as he saw me flinch. "Uh... i'm not gonna hurt you. It's okay." He squatted down beside the bed. "Can you just tell me what your name is?" He asked. My name. My name. My name? Whats my name? Who am I? I started hyperventilating. My breath came out in harsh gasps. His eyes widened. "It's okay. Hey, hey it's okay." He sat down beside me. This time I didn't move.
If all he wanted was my name, then he was probably okay. But I still had to be careful. "Are you okay?" He asked. I looked at him and shook my head. "What do you need?" I coughed again. I wrapped my hand around my throat. My mouth was to dry to speak. "W-waat-t-terr." I managed. A look of realisation came across his face. He stood up. "I'm so so sorry. I'll go get it for you, i'll be back in a couple minutes." He said and left. I sat in silence, my eyes darting to the door to my feet. I closed my eyes and imagined this was all a dream. But I didn't know what I dreamed of. I didn't remember anything. I remembered what things were. But I couldn't remember anything about myself.
I opened my eyes. And looked at the door. There was a figure leaning against the door opening. It was the shape of a boy. "Who are you?" He asked accusingly. I leaned against the wall. Maybe this place wasn't good. Who know's where I was. I could be in hell, for all I knew. "Who are you?" His voice was ice cold. Fear started creeping along my body. "Do you not know how to bloody talk? You knew who I was, so I want to know who you are." He said in the same icy voice. I silently wished the other boy would come back. He took a step closer, though I still couldn't see his face; it was hidden in the dark.
I stood up and leaned back, till I hit the wall. I was scared, I didn't know why. Maybe that's why I was so scared. I didn't know anything. How could I trust him or the other boy? Maybe the other boy sent this one in here to torture me or... or kill me. "Who are you?" He asked again. I burst into tears. And crouched down. I cried uncontrollably.
Then I felt a hand on my arm. I tried to jerk away. "I'll do anything for you, just please... please don't kill me. I'll do anything..." I sobbed. A hand went on my cheek. And rubbed my tears away with the thumb. I opened my eyes. And in my face, was a handsome boy. He had chocolate brown eyes and golden blonde hair. He had a guilty, apologetic expression on his face. "I'm sorry." He whispered. So, he was the boy that demanded my name. Wow. He cleared his throat. "I'm sorry." He said louder. "What's your name, hmm?" He whispered and smiled. Then he pulled me up and we sat on the bed. "I can't remember." I said hoarsely. He nodded. "It's okay." He had an odd accent. It sounded English but at the same time, Scottish. "A lot of us can't remember. But you'll get it either tomorrow, today, or in a couple of days." He told me. "But do you... do you know anything about yourself, do you remember anything?" I thought for a second. There was something familiar about this boy, but I still didn't know him. My eyes suddenly drooped. I shook my head. I was tired. "You said I knew who you were, what do you mean by that?" I looked into his eyes, but he just stared back, studying me. Then he sighed and looked down at his hands. "Okay, well when you were asleep, you said my name." I smirked. "Well, I don't remember you, so I doubt I know your name." He smiled but it vanished a second later. "You're also... uh... how do I say this... you're different." I wiped my tears away.
"How so?"
"Um... well you see... there's only boys here and you're the first girl we... well, we can ever remember seeing." I froze. There was only boys here?
"Are you sure?" I asked, still frozen. He chuckled.
"Well, I've been here all three years, so yeah, I'm sure."
Suddenly the first boy entered the doorway, with a wooden cup. The boy next to me, stood up, quickly. "Gally, um, well she talked." He said. The other boy, Gally, just continued to stare at him, expressionless. But then his eyes darted to me, and he smiled. "Okay, thank you, Newt-"
Suddenly I couldn't hear them anymore. I couldn't process what they were doing or saying. I remember a voice. A voice... promise me you won't let them put you in there.
But, there gonna put you in there, I heard them talking about it, Newt, they're gonna put you in there! We can't be separate. We can't be apart.
I know. I know. But, Blair, just promise me you won't let them put you in there.
But, Newt-
Promise me! Please, Blair, promise me. I couldn't live with myself.
I promise.
I looked up at the boys. Gally was now in front of me, but facing the other boy. Newt. "Blair." I said. They stopped talking and looked at me. "What?" Gally said.
"My name. It's Blair."
They looked at each other. But I watched Newt's face. Trying to see any kind of recognition. But he just smiled at me, and so did Gally. I looked down. My heart sunk. I didn't remember him, but I remembered the voice's. Maybe they meant something. I looked up at Newt. "I know what your name is." I said to him. The smile vanished. A look of confusion waved across his face. "Newt." Washing away the confusion, and replacing it was-
pure terror.

Science Fiction(COMPLETED!) This book is based on the movie. Not the book. In the world of the Maze Runner, you come up in the box with Thomas. That is the only difference in here. And you are the main character. So technically you are Thomas, like in James Dashne...
