Blair's POV
I couldn't breath. I watched as the door's closed around Thomas. "No." I said and turned and ran through the boys. I ran and ran and ran. I didn't realise I was crying till I tripped. No one survives a night in the Maze. Gally had told me that at the fire the other night. The emotions I was feeling were unknown so I forced myself to shut up and feel my emotions. Fear. Anger. Sadness. I was fearful for Thomas. I was angry at Thomas. And I was sad, because I may never see Thomas again. Then I burst into tears a second time. I was crying a lot here. It was terrible. It was sundown by the time I could no longer cry. Thomas was the only one who I could figure things out with here. I realised I actually cared about Thomas more than anyone here. And now I probably wasn't gonna see him again. I just stayed curled up on the ground and now it was pitch black.
I could hear Newt, Gally, Chuck and some other gladers calling my name. But I didn't answer them. I was by the forest by the wall far from the huts and main area. I saw a light behind me, when I opened my eyes and heard a rustling sound. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Blair?" Gally. I sat up and he was there. Kneeling, his arm reached out, a worried expression on his face. I swiftly hugged him and let a few more tears slip through. "Are you okay? What's wrong?" He asked. Oh yeah. He didn't know. No one knew, besides Newt. "Thomas. I fear for him..." A strange expression passed over his face, suddenly.
"Do you need help?" He asked and stood up. I shook my head and stood up, but then I was too weak and fell into his arms. His arms were hard. And slightly muscular. I ran my eyes up his arm, till I reached his eyes. His eyes were like an ocean. "Are you okay?" I felt this suddenly weird feeling to... to get close with Gally. He was handsome and tall. And he was nothing but kind to me. I stood on my tiptoes- and thought of Thomas. "No, I'm very tired." I said and turned away from him. "Okay, I'll help you to the huts."
We arrived the huts in a matter of minutes. We went in a hut for an extra blanket since I told him I wanted one but it was dark inside. "Shuck, I can't see a thing." Gally said in the darkness. I could see his silhouette. He was by a shelf. I stepped behind him. And he turned around- and I kissed him. He froze in surprise, but then he kissed me back. His arms went up my back and cupped both sides of the back of head and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He tasted like his drink that he made and carrots and grime and dirt.
I don't know how long we stood there, but he eventually said, "We have to get to the hammocks now, I have your blanket." And so we walked to the hammocks in silence, but when he was gonna walk away he pecked a kiss on my lips one last time.
I lied down and watched Gally walk away. Then, I thought, Oh god, what have I done?
Thomas's POV
Me and Minho were tying up Alby with vines, to hide him there, while we went and hid. We were groaning, when we heard the Maze groaning. Minho then stopped and swivelled us to the side. He must've saw something cause he swiftly made us go back and he groaned in fear. "We gotta go, we gotta go." He said.
"No, no, no, just a little more and we'll tie it off." I assured him, then I heard the mechanical footsteps of something.
"Come on, come on, stay with me, Minho." I told him.
"I'm sorry, greenie." He said.
"What-" His grip loosened and he took off running. "Minho!" I slammed into the wall. And Alby went down a couple of inches. I then heard a screech. I froze. The mechanical steps were coming closer. I saw a small space underneath the vines and slid under there. And I was right. Spider like mechanical footsteps crawled by. I held my breath as they slowly, horrifyingly passed. I was shaking. Then I caught sight of a stick and gripped it. It was firm. I got out underneath and tied the vine around the stick trying my best to go fast, but the vine was hard as well. But then I managed to tie it around. I heard the growling and mechanical footsteps of the griever. "Shit," I muttered. I secured the tie and swiftly went onto the other side of the wall. And I heard the griever growl and screech. But then they got quieter till I couldn't hear them anymore. I checked behind the wall, and it was gone. I let out my breath I didn't realise I was holding. I looked up at Alby. He was fine. Suddenly, I heard this crumbling sound. And followed after that, a griever screech. I looked towards the sound. And walked backwards, away from it. My heart was beating. But I had to stay alive. For Blair.
I heard a squashing sound under my foot and slightly slipped. I lifted my foot up; it was difficult. It was as if it was glued to the ground, but not enough. I shook the goo off. I looked around, trying to find where the goo came from. I then heard a sound, but it was quiet and sounded far away. Then something dripped on my shoulder. I looked. More goo. I looked up. And saw a griever. It jumped down. I yelled out and fell to the ground. "Shit." I muttered. It growled, I could see it had teeth all around the mouth. And looked like a bulbous, dark creature, with many appendages such as spikes, shears, and rods. It suddenly jumped towards me. I yelled again and got up and ran. I heard it growling behind me. I turned a corner, and saw it close behind. "Oohhhh..." I could hear it's mechanical steps, slightly shaking the ground. It screeched again. I turned a corner. I could barely breath. I was terrified, I had no idea how I was gonna survive this, but I just had too.
Suddenly it ran out in front of me. "HOOEE!" I stopped and almost rammed into it and turned and ran. I turned more corners, then suddenly, there were no more corners to turn. Dead ends. "Oh, shit." I looked forwards, expecting it to come. It came, fast. I looked towards the dead ends. And ran up a rock and grabbed onto a vine on the wall. I climbed the wall and it came ramming into the wall under my feet. I yelled again, terrified. I could hear the blood pounding in my ears. I reached the top and climbed onto the flat ground. I climbed over and ran until there was no ground. I jumped over that and fell and hit the wall. I looked towards the griever. It was close. I climbed over a little stone hedge and ran. But this was also dead end, only with no wall, nothing. I had to jump. There was a wall ahead, but no ground. And it had vines. But it was pretty far and I doubted I could make it. I looked behind me. The griever was right behind. I turned and ran and jumped.
I grabbed onto a vine. Then I turned and watched as it jumped too. It landed right behind me, but it was to big to actually squash me."Holy, shit." I slid down as it stabbed a claw into the wall, right where my head was a second ago. It climbed down and ripped the vines as well. And we both went tumbling down, tangled in vines. I landed but not as hard. And looked at the griever. It was tangled. This was my chance. I got up and ran. Leaving it behind. I turned and looked at it and then something slammed into my side.

The Maze Runner (my version)
Science Fiction(COMPLETED!) This book is based on the movie. Not the book. In the world of the Maze Runner, you come up in the box with Thomas. That is the only difference in here. And you are the main character. So technically you are Thomas, like in James Dashne...
