Newt's POV
The griever was dead. It had been squished by the wall. We had run, till we reached the doors, and they opened. So, now here we were, running back into the Glade, everyone following Thomas, with Blair in his arms. Questions were getting thrown around. "What happened?" "Where were you?" "Are you okay?" "Is she okay?"
But we just ran to the med-jacks hut. We approached it and rushed in. Jeff and Clint came around out of Alby's room. They turned pale as soon as they saw Blair. Then they were telling Thomas to put her on the cot, quickly. He set her down and the two boys were rushing around to get aid. Clint sat down beside Blair and cut off her sweater, and examined the thing sticking out of her. It wasn't thick and didn't look long, but maybe it was long, and just really deep inside her.
But then, she slightly twitched and her chest stopped. Everything seemed to stop. Everything froze and then I was beside her and cupping her face. Asking her name. Calmly. As if she would reply. "Blair?" I asked. Her eyes didn't open. "Blair?!" I asked, more panic in my voice. Then Thomas was on the other side of her, pushing Clint out of the way. "Blair?!" He asked and grabbed her shoulders. More blood pooled out of her mouth, once he lifted her up. Everything sounded as if I were a distance away. And everything was very slow. But as I looked up and into Thomas's eyes, I knew she was gone.
Blair's POV
I felt a pressure in my chest, right before I fell over the ledge. It felt like I had just been punched. My hands clawed themselves through the air trying to grip my chest but then everything went black.
There was a pressure and pain on my leg. I peeled my eyes open and my head was moving. I looked around. It was blurry and my heart felt like it was being pounded on. It was throbbing. I also still felt a pressure on my chest and a stinging around it. I tasted metal in my mouth. But then my eyes meant his eyes. My eyes adjusted to this one person and I tried to say his name, "Newt." But instead, the metal taste drooled out and it dripped onto his shirt. It was red. I was surprised. I spit out blood? Why would I spit out blood? But then I fell over and darkness once again took over.
My body was shaking and cold. I couldn't open my eyes all the way. But then the pressure in my chest still felt like one long punch. Then, I realized I was being carried. Someone was holding me under my armpits and another holding my legs. Then we stopped moving. And there was yelling. "Run, Thomas!" A girl's voice. Whose voice was that? And who was Thomas? What was happening?
"You can make it!" This one was a boy's voice. I decided to stand up and figure out what was going on. But I couldn't stand up. My legs didn't work. And then I got held up stronger and higher. And then we were moving again. My thigh throbbed. I moaned as the pressure in my chest stung. It was never going away, and it was getting overwhelming, and before I knew it, I was getting taken over by darkness.
The pressure in my chest was gone, but now a stinging replaced it. And... and I couldn't breathe. I opened my eyes and choked for air. Then I was aware of my surroundings. There were people on both sides of where I was lying. I sat up and everyone froze. There was a teary eyed blonde boy on my right and also a teary eyed brown haired boy on my other side. They both locked eyes with me, and then hugged me, saying, "Blair!" I froze in surprise and confusion. Why were these boys hugging me? Where was I? Who were these boys? I pulled away, confused.

The Maze Runner (my version)
Science Fiction(COMPLETED!) This book is based on the movie. Not the book. In the world of the Maze Runner, you come up in the box with Thomas. That is the only difference in here. And you are the main character. So technically you are Thomas, like in James Dashne...
