(Author's note: So, I A.I. generated Blair, and this is exactly how I imagined her, so i'm very proud of this.)

Thomas's POV

It was now dark. And I was just waiting at the bottom of the tower. She had stopped sobbing an hour ago. But I was unsure if she wanted to see anyone. I didn't want to bug her. But then, "Thomas?" She said, as if she already knew I was there. She did. She looked over the railing and looked down at me with puffy eyes. "Can you come up?" I smiled at her and walked to the ladder. I got to the top and saw she was in a corner, her head in her hands. I rushed over to her. "Are you okay? Wow, I didn't think Newt can be like that. I wonder why he was such a crank to you." She sniffled. And rose her head. And kissed me. Caught off guard, I fell backwards a little. But pushed myself up and kissed her back. When we were talking to each other in the hut this morning, I realised I liked her. I didn't know if it was love, but I definitely had feelings for her. She pulled back and sighed. "I'm sorry, Thomas. I just want to forget." She smiled embarrassed. She was pretty. She had brown hair, green eyes, pale creamy skin, evenly scattered freckles on both cheeks, her nose was small and pointed. And her eyebrows had a slight arch. She lied on my shoulder and closed her eyes. And I did too. And then I fell asleep.

Newt's POV

"Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god." I didn't know what to do. I felt so ashamed for yelling at Blair. How dare I? I was in a hut, alone. I sat on the cot. Also, what was going on between her and Thomas? I shook my head. It doesn't matter. It wasn't my business. I just should've never yelled at her. I didn't know what was wrong with me. I've never yelled at anyone before. Only when I had to call them. Well, I felt pressured when she was talking to me when we were banishing Ben. And it also wasn't easy doing this to Ben, who've I known for the three years since he arrived. So, in my defence, I was pressured. But I was mad at myself for losing my cool, so randomly. It just wasn't me. I sighed and put my head into my hands.

Blair's POV

I woke and lifted my head off of Thomas's shoulder. He was still sleeping. But I was thirsty. I gently unwound Thomas's arm off of my shoulder. Then I stood up and looked over the wooden railing of the tree tower. It was still dark, obviously, but the gladers were still awake around the fire. Well, Thomas came up here when the sun was down, but it was still light out. So, we didn't sleep long. I walked to the ladder and climbed down. I didn't exactly know where they kept the supplies, so I went into the nearest hut. It was lit, I could see from outside, so I approached the door, and pressed my ear against it. There was no noise. So I gripped the handle and swinged the door open. And there, sitting on a cot, with his head in his hands, was Newt. I froze. He looked up, and his eyes widened and the colour drained from his face. I came to my senses and turned to run out the door, but then I felt arms grab hold of me, his arms. And surprisingly, they were strong. I struggled, but then turned to him and glared at him through blurry eyes. But then the unexpected happened- he hugged me. He dug his head into my shoulder, into my hair. I stood frozen. Until I heard him muttering, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I instantly felt guilty. Why was I feeling guilty? He was the one that yelled at me. But then again, his arms felt comforting and familiar. I couldn't resist. I wrapped my arms around him too. He jerked with surprise and pulled back. "Blair, I'm sorry. I don't know why I yelled at you, I really don't. And I'm sorry. Can we just... can we just start over, I guess?"His brown eyes pleaded with me. And he did apologise. I nodded and he smiled. "I'm sorry." He said again. I smiled back and laughed.

"Oh, god. I hope you're not gonna keep saying that. It's gonna get me annoyed."

"Maybe, I will." He said and hugged me again.

"Uhh, Newt, I actually came in here for a reason. I was thirsty, well I still am. I just didn't want to ruin the moment, but I am so so thirsty, I'm sorry." He pulled back and let me go.

"Then let's go get you that water."

We walked down the invisible trail to the kitchen and there he grabbed me a small glass jar off the shelf and a bucket and poured water from the bucket into my cup. And he handed it to me. I instantly sipped from it, thanking him. He just nodded and smiled slightly. But it looked pained. I finished and stepped in front of his face, forcing him to look down into my eyes. "Are you okay?" I asked. He just stared down into my eyes. Finally he sighed and looked down, at his feet. "I'm just really sorry. I feel really guilty. And I really like you." He saw my eyes widen. "No! Not like that. Bloody sorry." He muttered the last part. I hugged him swiftly. "You're forgiven, Newt. Really." We stared into our eyes, for an extensive time, before he asked, "Can we go for a walk? If you do not want to, we don't have to..." He trailed off. I smiled. "Of course, Newt."

Newt's POV

We walked by the edge of the forest, quietly. It was an awkward silence. I had wanted to ask her a question, but didn't know how to not make it sound weird, or awkward. "Blair." She turned to me, and I stopped walking. She stopped too. "Are you and, uh... Thomas... partners?" I looked into her eyes for her reaction. I hoped she wouldn't get mad. She was staring at the ground. "Don't tell Gally." She whispered. Almost sadly. I just laughed.

"What?"

She sighed and looked up. "It's getting really dark, Newt, let's head back." And she turned around and headed to the hammocks. My insides started to feel mushy and hurt. Jealousy. But I only followed her, silently.
