Blair's POV
We ran to the med- jacks hut, Teresa leading. A million questions went through my head about Alby. As we arrived, I saw Gally glance at me. I turned to look at him. He looked unsure. Because he wasn't sure if I remembered him. Then we just stared at each other. And I walked to him and grabbed his hand. I smiled slightly and fit my fingers between his and his eyes brightened. Then we walked in with the rest of the group, to find Alby sitting on the edge of the bed, facing away from the door.
"Has he said anything?" Minho asked.
"No," Teresa said in a flat tone. Newt walked around to stand beside Alby.
"Alby..." He said and sat slowly beside him. "Alby, you alright?" Ably didn't say anything; he just stared straight ahead at the wall in front of him. A few moments of silence passed, till Thomas went to kneel beside Alby. "Hey, Ably." He said. "Ably, we might have just found a way out of the maze." He said. "Do you hear me, we could be getting out of here." Then Alby started shaking his head.
"We can't." He said softly, sadly. His eyes were shiny. I tightened my grip around Gally's arm. "We can't leave." Thomas looked confused. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out. "They won't let us." Thomas glanced at Newt and back. "What're you talking about?" He asked him.
"I remember." He said. Gally sucked in his breath, sharply. He shared a long glance with Frypan.
"What do you remember?" Thomas asked, quietly. Alby swallowed and turned his head to look at Thomas. "You." He said. Then suddenly, Thomas looked scared and he sagged. "You were always their favourite Thomas." Alby said. "Always." My heart sped up and a knot formed in my stomach. From fear.
There was shouting. The boys outside were shouting. Teresa looked around in confusion. I looked up at Gally's face and he looked confused as well. "Why did you do this?" Alby asked Thomas. He shed a tear. "Why did you come here?" And then the shouting got worse. Thomas stood up and Ably put his head into his hands and started crying. Then we were running out of the shed.
Outside, boys were running past with torches to the doors. Gally gripped my hand tighter. "Hey, Winston what's going on?" Thomas stopped a boy.
"It's the doors. They aren't closing." He said and ran off. Then Thomas followed and so did the rest of us.
We approached the doors. Everyone looked confused and... and a little frightened. And then there was a deafening groan. Everyone covered their ears, including me. I squeezed them. Then after a couple of seconds, I let go. The group was turning around and I saw why. The walls on the other side were opening. The knot in my stomach tightened. This was horrifying. And another one opened. And the last one. All four doors were open. Boys were running to the last one that opened.
"Chuck, I want you to go to the council hall and start barricading the doors." Thomas told the young boy beside him. He nodded and started.
"Winston, you go with him." Newt told the boy, Thomas had talked to earlier. "Got it." He said and followed Chuck. Then Gally was giving orders, but still keeping a grip on me.
"Get the others. Tell them to go to the forest. Go hide now!" He said. Everyone started talking at once, in fear. "Minho, I want you to grab every weapon you can find." Thomas told Minho beside me. "I'll meet you at council hall." Minho and Newt took off. My heart skipped a beat.
Newt was leaving us? It was dangerous. I started breathing heavily. Thomas went and grabbed Teresa gently by the shoulders in front of me. "Teresa, you and I are gonna go get Alby, alright? Come on." They turned to go, but suddenly the boys by the forest started running and shouting, wildly.

The Maze Runner (my version)
Science Fiction(COMPLETED!) This book is based on the movie. Not the book. In the world of the Maze Runner, you come up in the box with Thomas. That is the only difference in here. And you are the main character. So technically you are Thomas, like in James Dashne...
