Blair's POV
Me and Thomas hung out the whole day. I didn't see Newt at all, and I was getting a little worried. We decided that we wouldn't tell anyone about the voices. We didn't want to get everyone worried about it as well. But Thomas said we should forget it for the day and we'll worry about it later. I agreed with him and so now here we were walking in the forest. "Blair, do you like Gally?" He suddenly asked.
"What do you mean? I mean, yeah, I like him, but not romantically." He sighed. And laughed.
"I don't know. I just wanted to try something and I didn't want to deal with Gally. He hates me enough." I laughed at that.
"What did you want to try?" I asked. We had stopped walking and Thomas was studying a tree. He looked away from me.
"I..." I walked in front of him.
"Thomaaasssss," I teased. He laughed and pushed me up against the tree and tickled me.
"AAAHHHH! Thomas! Stop!" I laughed. We caught our breaths and I looked up at him. He was staring at me, studying me. Then a blush spread across his cheeks and I felt my cheeks get warm as well. But we couldn't seem to look away. "I wanted to try and... kiss you." He whispered. I gasped. I wasn't really sure how to react. Then I saw disappointment peel in his eyes and he started to move. But I whispered, "Then try it." Surprise flashed in his eyes. He was handsome and he at least told me he wanted to kiss me. So I think it was fine to let him kiss me. We stood frozen for a second. He put his hands on my hips. Then he slowly lowered his head to mine. He closed his eyes at the last second. Our lips touched. Lightly. I gasped. Warmth spread in my tummy. Then he kissed me again, sending shocks through my body and to my toes. I pressed up against the tree more. And I liked it. I liked kissing him. I've never really thought about, but now it was cool. It was more than cool. I loved it. I liked it. I liked him. He pulled away. He looked worried. "Was that not good?" I could see my reflection in his eyes. I looked crazed out and amused. But then I smiled. "It was great." Then he kissed me, again. His hands went in my hair. And it still was gentle and light. I didn't want to get to crazy. I wrapped my arms around his neck. And I felt him smile against my mouth. And I smiled too. Our foreheads leaned against each others. "Do you like me, Blair?" Thomas asked.
"Only if you like me." I said, teasingly, but I nodded, crazily.
"Yeah, yeah I do." And he kissed me one last time, a peck. Then he pulled away, but his hands went from my hair to my hand. And we held hands as we walked away. I heard the birds chirping above us. I was happy. It was a great feeling.
Newt's POV
"Newt, we're gonna banish Ben, today. Just... make sure Blair is not there. I don't want her to be traumatised. Thank you." Alby told me, grudgingly, during lunch. We were sitting around the fire, eating cut up pork chop in a soup of vegetables. I was avoiding seeing Blair today. Besides this morning when she got attacked. I just... I just couldn't stop thinking about her. But I knew I couldn't do anything about it. I doubt she even thought about me. When I was leaving the hut, she was in, after she passed out, she was calling for Thomas. I don't know why I had gotten my hopes up when she had called me when Ben attacked her. She was probably just calling any random name. And then I saw Gally go in there. And then Thomas. She was getting all the boy's attention. Of course she would want to talk to Gally or Thomas then me. Shuck you, Newt. She's just a girl. I told myself.
Later...
Blair's POV
As Thomas and I walked out of the forest, I saw the group of boys by the entrance of the Maze. "What are they doing?" Thomas said. They had poles and I spotted Minho pulling someone. "Is that- is that Ben?" Thomas asked incredulously. It was. Minho pushed Ben into the circle of boys. And he threw something into the Maze, while it was closing. "Poles!" Alby yelled. Me and Thomas sprinted at the same time, though he was faster. He went ahead of me. "What are you guys doing?" Thomas asked.
Alby answered. "Banishing." He said. That made my heart stop. But they said it was dangerous in the Maze, why were they putting Ben inside the Maze, was it because he had attacked me? But it was just a little mistake. I saw Newt pushing Ben in, with his pole. He would tell me. I ran to him. He turned to look at me. And he went rigid. Until Gally yelled at him to keep moving. "What are you doing?"
"Just go, Blair. You don't want to see this." I put my hand out to stop him, but what was I gonna do? I put my hand down. "Just don't. It was a little mistake. Let him live!" I pleaded.
"Blair. Go. You don't understand." He said, his voice ice cold.
"But, Newt-"
"GO BLAIR! GOD, YOU"RE SO STUPID! CAN'T YOU JUST LISTEN FOR ONCE?!" Newt yelled. I flinched. The boy's just looked at Newt. But he locked our gaze. I took a step back. He realised what he just did, but didn't say anything. I felt a burning pressure behind my eyes. Then I felt arms wrap around me. I looked up into Thomas's eyes. And so did Newt. I saw a flash of... of jealousy in them. But I couldn't take it anymore; I ran. I pushed Thomas away and ran. I didn't know where I was gonna run. But I had to get somewhere. I ran and went up onto the lookout tree. And cried.
Thomas's POV
I watched as Blair ran away, sobbing. I turned and shot a glare at Newt. "What the hell, Newt." I said to his shocked expression. And jogged to where Blair went. She went up the lookout tree. I could hear her sobs, as the maze doors closed. And the boys stood there for a second. But then everyone walked away. As the crowd cleared, I saw one boy standing, clutching his pole. Newt.

The Maze Runner (my version)
Science Fiction(COMPLETED!) This book is based on the movie. Not the book. In the world of the Maze Runner, you come up in the box with Thomas. That is the only difference in here. And you are the main character. So technically you are Thomas, like in James Dashne...
