"Good morning ma'am." Carlo my bodyguard greeted me as I made my way down the hallway and onto the stairs.

"Good morning," I reply.

The chef's eyes widen as she spots me making my way towards the table.

"M-ma'am. I didn't know you'd be eating with us, take a seat we'll have it ready in the next five minutes I-"

I smile. "Take your time. No rush."

I take a seat next to Christian on his left side. Aria smiles at me. "Morning."

I look around the table and notice three new faces. I sit straight. Aria notices my reaction. "Oh. This is Cam, that's Sebastian, Christian's number one man, and that's Xavier."

The last guy on the end frowns. "Beautiful, I believe she forgot to introduce me. I'm Giovanni, her cousin. But I don't like to claim her, so forget I told you that."

Aria rolls her eyes. "That's the cousin I told you not to make friends with." She whispers loudly.

Giovanni grumbles. "I heard that-"

"You were supposed to. You-"

Christian sits up straight his knuckles clenched. "Enough." He stands scanning the table. "Giovanni meet me in my office when you're done."

Sebastian clears his throat as he stands following Christian into his office.

The sounds of their shoes clicking on the floor are heard clearly before they disappear slowly, as they reach closer to their destination.

Giovanni stares at his plate, his eyes wide. "What did I do now? I made sure to return his scented candles this time.."

Aria rolls her eyes again. "Probably work reasons you idiot!"

"Hey," Xavier greets me from across the table. He had dark curls and beautiful light blue eyes. He was the only one at the table wearing a more formal outfit. It made him stand out and look nice.

"Hi," I reply awkwardly. I shift my gaze anywhere else but him. I had to sit there pretending like he wasn't my type. He works for my husband. A husband I have decided not to be unfaithful to.

He seems to have noticed my awkwardness and jumps into a conversation. "How is life now living in the mansion?"

"It's okay. I think it's more serious and intense here but back at my Parents' mansion it was more relaxed. I knew everyone there so that might be why. But compared to my New York apartment very different."
