My eyes flutter open when I feel a warm kiss placed on my lips.
Christian's hand is moving gently up and down, stoking my thigh. My eyes meet his and he smiles.
"Happy birthday," I whisper to him, remembering that had told me a while back when his birthday was.
He chuckles. "Thank you, amore."
I gently cuddle up against his back and he brings his hands around me. "I have work a lot of work to do today."
I frown up at him and he continues. "Leo sent men to spy on us yesterday. He knows almost everything and we still don't know who the snake is. We've done scans and searches yet, it doesn't match to anyone in this home."
"Is Leo coming for us? Because if he really wanted to, he would have by now. He's planning something big. All the spying has to be for a reason. And I personally don't think it's an attack or war. It's more of a revenge trick. Something that will annoy you and make you attack first." I let out.
Christian stares at me blankly but presses his lips to mine again. "Why are you so perfect?" He says, bringing his mouth to my neck. I hold my breath as he makes his way down my neck.
"Christian?" I call out, my voice breathy.
"Hmm?" He hums."I'm going to make you a little birthday breakfast. I told the chefs yesterday not to make anything. I'm gonna head downstairs. You go get ready."
Christian smiles his dimples showing. "Thank you."
I was almost in awe at the sight. I return the smile and make my way downstairs to find Aria already taking ingredients out of the fridge.
"I hope you're good at breakfast. The chefs were gonna cook pancakes today. They're too good to miss." She grumbles, causing me to roll my eyes.
"I'm not making the whole house breakfast, I'm making Christian and I breakfast. Everyone in this household made their own breakfast this morning if they were hungry but yourself." I tell her.
She narrows her eyes. "Sebastian ate without me?"
"No." Sebastian walks into the kitchen and places a kiss on her cheek. "I don't have time to eat today. We've got a lot of work to do."
"The French?" Aria asks.
Sebastian nods. "Morning, Tate." He greets me and grabs his coffee from the table. "I'll see you both later." He mumbles making his way to Christian's office.
