Christian Fontana and Tate carmen Romero come from different worlds, but never did he think he'd cross paths with her again.
It's a small world. Smaller than they think. Who knew there were more connections then the ones playing around in their hear...

"Ma'am, are you feeling okay? Should I drive to the hospital?"
Carlo arrived to pick me up in no more than five minutes. He was told to pick something up from the city by Dario and he didn't think I'd finish work earlier than I said I would have.
Carlo has left me alone on my own before. Not for long but still on my own and nothing has ever happened. He's my bodyguard and sometimes my driver and he's never asked to do anything other than protect me. It's almost as if this was planned.
I wouldn't like to jump to conclusions it could be a false alarm. But, Carlo is sent and leaves me alone for the third time and all of a sudden I get attacked by a weird man on the street. Before I could kick him away, he gripped my neck tighter, leaving me with almost no air to breathe. I didn't think it is that hard. Looks like I'll be at the warehouse more.
"Ma'am?" Carlo asks once more.
"I-um. Sorry. I'll see the home nurse. It's late. Just take me back to the estate please." I ask him. He gives me a wary look and turns to start the car.
I sit in silence the whole way back to the mansion, trying to ignore the pain at the back of my head. I lean forward so my blood doesn't stain the car and I hold the back of my head with a little tissue in my purse.
Elisa, the nurse quickly takes me over to her room to check the injuries. "Oh, dear!" She gasps loudly. "I must inform Mr Fontana right away."
I pause. "No. I don't think that's necessary I'm fine. Really."
She shakes her head. "I'm under strict orders, ma'am. I must always let the boss know anyone on the list he gave me who's hurt."
I scan the list. My name's on the top. Followed by the names of Aria and the rest under the leading men. And then His father's name is right underneath mine.
"Can't you just let this one slide Elisa? Please."
She gives me an apocalyptic smile. "My love, I'm sorry but he needs to know. He could kill me. Come on sweetheart, turn your head. Let's stitch it up."
She numbs the pain but it doesn't seem to work as it stings like a bitch. She soon Christian was told and he was immediately on his way. Apparently, Carlo had already informed him. Of course.
I sat down patiently until sleep slowly consumed me.

"Christian you need to calm down!" Someone yells. My eyes remain closed not sure if I'm ready to go back into this world of danger.
"You sent Carlo on an errand when he's supposed to be looking after my wife."
I almost gasp at the way he says that sentence but that would blow my fake sleep cover away so I remain silent pretending to just wake up like I hadn't done that about twenty seconds ago.
