A/n - A filler chapter for what's coming up soon. Filler chapters (Christmas - New years)

I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck and I was lifted off my feet. "I love you," I whisper.

"Mm." Christian frowns avoiding my eye contact.

"Are you still mad? I told you I'm sorry."

Christian has been behaving sassy and irritating since I stole his card and bought a load of random Christmas things for the home decoration. He was ignoring me so why not?

Do I have my card filled with millions? Yes.
But will I spend my own money? No.

I press my lips against his and he instantly kisses me back. "Forgive me?"

He nods. I wipe my pink lipstick off his lips and get off him. "Come on, I want to show you the tree at the entrance."

He follows me out of our room and down the stairs. "You did this?"

I hum. "And Leah, and Giovanni, and Cameron, and Sebastian, and Aria, and Antonio. All while you were having a long way ass nap. You snore loud."

Christian narrows his eyes. "You've turned my house into a Christmas show. Everywhere I look is a decoration."

"Yep. And since everything is going smoothly in this mafia. For now. I declare Christmas a break for everyone. And I made sure there's  back up so we can enjoy this holiday. And so we're all available for our activities for tomorrow."

"Activities?"

"Yep. The whole group is going ice skating tomorrow and shopping for Christmas gifts. You're coming 'cause I say so."

Christian rolls his eyes. "No thank you. I'll just watch while I eat some cupcakes." He says as Carlo hands him a piece of paper.

"This better not be another bill, Tate."

"Nooo..." I smile widely.

"I don't have a problem with you spending the money but when it's for ridiculously unnecessary things, it's a problem. And you have a black card filled with millions."

"Yours looks more spendable." I sigh, as he wraps an arm around my waist. "You're coming tomorrow. End of."

Christian groans.

"It'll be fun. And we have lots of activities for the next few days that I think you'll enjoy it."

"Absolutely not." Christian stares at the ice, frightened.

Sebastian and Antonio laugh as I hold Christian's hand.

"Have you never been ice skating?"

"Nope," Antonio answers for him. "He's always been too scared. He never went as we were kids so he won't be able to handle this."

"Chiuderlo!" Christian grumbles at his brother.

I watch as Sebastian holds onto Aria and they both make their way through the ice. Giovanni stands by the side flirting with a beautiful woman skating on her own as Cam and Antonio move onto the ice.

"Come on, Christian. I'll hold your hand."

Christian holds onto my hand and I slowly help him to the ice. "All you have to do is glide your feet."

Christian holds onto my waist as I glide on the ice. He follows my moves and we make it for a few seconds. "See? That wasn't so bad, was it?"

He narrows his eyes. "Whatever. That's enough. Questo è troppo." He mumbles.
{This is too much.}

"Nu-uh. You need to do it on your own first."

"Don't be a baby. Sei l'unica gallina qui." Antonio grins and Christian glares right back at him.
{You're the only chicken here.}

Christian sighs and starts gliding but as he pushes once more and makes a wrong turn and falls onto the ice.

"Christian? Are you okay?" I quickly move to help him up ignoring Giovanni and Antonio's loud laughter.

"Maybe that's enough for one day," I tell him, brushing the dirt off his hair.

He holds tightly onto my hand and we both make our way off the ice and sit and watch the others.
The waiter brings out hot chocolate and I thank her silently.

"I told you I couldn't skate," Christian says after a while. I smile softly.

"It's okay. I think there's more to the story though. Like a reason you never wanted to skate?"

He nods but doesn't say anything else. I don't bother pressing further. Antonio mentioned childhood and I could only imagine it has something to do with his mom.

"You did well Christian. I can teach you privately if you'd like. I used to want to become a figure skater so I started training for it."

Christian frowns. "What happened?"

"My father said I wasn't wearing enough clothing and he thought it was inappropriate. He called it ice-stripping." I sigh as Aria makes her way to us.

Christian chuckles and scans my body. "Christian," I say, quietly as a warning.

He smirks to himself when Aria sits next to me. "Hey, guys. You look cosy. Sebastian is being annoying again. What's next after this?"

I watch as Christian's face drops. "There's more!?"

I nod. "Yes. Shopping. I told you already." I grab his hand and call for the rest.

"This will be fun."
