I clench my jaw as the phone goes to voicemail for the twelfth time.

"Fuck!" I yell out in annoyance.

It's been four days and I haven't gotten a response from her. And I don't blame her one bit. Though I couldn't go through with the plan of hurting her business after the way she handled things last night. Her father on the other hand will still pay.

He hasn't been seen leaving his mansion from what my men have told me meaning he's heard the plan.

The plan is on hold. The plan that made her leave me. The plan that hurt her.

I stare at the empty bottle of whiskey and stand to look for more. Just as I pour it into my glass, Aria and Sebastian enter my office.

Sebastian groans and snatches the bottle out of my hand. "What the fuck are you doing?"

"Drinking. What the fuck does it look like I'm doing?"

Sebastian looks around dramatically. "No. Get your shit together. I told you to forget about it and you chose to be stupid anyway. You love Tate. And we all do too. And you're gonna get her back. capisci?"
{understand?}

"I am."

"Well since you're here chilling in your office drinking looking like you don't have a care in the world, I'd say it hasn't crossed your mind." Aria folds her arms over her chest.

I clench my jaw and look down at my lap. "What do I do?"

"Well, she's clearly not interested in what you have to say over the phone so how about being a man and actually driving two hours to go see her and apologise? She definitely won't forgive you right away but she'd appreciate you tried because she's nice like that." Aria raises her brows so her point is clear.

"You're drunk right now so sleep and wake up and make sure the first thing you do tomorrow is check on her and apologise." Aria grabs onto Sebastian's hand and leaves the room.

Cameron and Antonio walk in after and go to both sides of me. "You take the left arm." Antonio sighs as they both lead me upstairs and into my bedroom.

"Get some rest and do better, Christian."

The drive to Lakeside took longer than I expected. There was so much traffic so the drive that was supposed to be two hours ended up three and a half. But she's worth going millions and millions of miles for.
