The journey home wasn't as long as it was on the way there. It's usually that way anyway.

I stare at my reflection in the mirror. My face is still red from tears and my eyes still look glossy. I switch off my bathroom lights and make my way downstairs, tightening my robe around me.

The mansion was silent tonight. All the guards were stationed in their spots, standing silently. When do they sleep?

Ignoring my question, I take a glass and fill it with water.

"You okay?"

I nearly jump in surprise. Antonio smiles. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. How are you doing?"

I fake a smile, trying to be as nice as possible. "I'm good." I lie.

Antonio and Christian look very alike. When they stand next to each other, you can tell they're brothers.

Antonio takes a sip of whatever's in his glass. "You don't seem good. Have you been crying?"

I avoid our eyes meeting. After a few seconds, I feel the warmth of his arm wrapped around my shoulders. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. "

"Thank you," I mutter softly.

He nods plopping a strawberry into his mouth. "Don't tell my brother I said this because I probably shouldn't but, you're really pretty. If he didn't marry you, I would." Antonio rests his head on his arm batting his lashes, causing me to laugh.

"You're right, you shouldn't have said that but, thank you."

"Eh. It was worth a shot." He smirks.

I stand on the stool I was sitting on. "Well, goodnight Antonio."

"Goodnight."

As I'm about to leave he calls my name again. I turn to him. "Also. I know it's hard but you can come to me if you need to. I'll be like your brother here. Since you don't fancy me romantically for whatever reason." He dramatically rolls his eyes.

I give him a wide smile. "Thank you. Goodnight."

Today, I decided not to show up to breakfast. I wasn't in the mood for him this morning or anyone for that matter.

Aria kindly brought food up to my bedroom along with Cam. They both repeatedly asked what was wrong but I refused to say. Maybe I'm overreacting.

I don't want to make it seem like a big thing when to them it might not be that serious so there's no point talking about it.

Aria sighs and drops dramatically on my bed. She hums. "Damn! Your bed is so soft. No wonder why you're always up here."

I laugh. "Shh. quiet down. You're not even allowed down this hallway."

"That's Don's rules. As Donna, you can say whether you don't mind me being in the hallway where the most important people of this house sleep." She says.
