CHAPTER TWENTY ONE - THE ARREST
Eleanor was now back at home sat on the couch with her head laid on Leon's chest as he played with her hair while the movie 'Gone in 60 Seconds' played on the tv "So you're hanging out with the Pogues soon?"
Eleanor nodded "Yeah, I'm meeting them at Heyward's shop to help with the food for Midsummers tonight"
Leon hummed in acknowledgement "Your dress that you bought is hung up on your door, I ironed it for ya"
"Thank you Leon, really, I know I don't say it enough but I do love you and I appreciate you so much" She smiled up at him.
"I love you too Eli" He then kissed the top of her head as she snuggled into his chest more to watch the rest of the movie. A content smile resting on both of their faces.

Eleanor had just arrived at Heyward's so as soon as the Pogues heard that familiar engine they were quick to rush out and greet the girl.
"Hey Kie" She smiled, hugging her back before giving the boys a hug. That's when she noticed the scars and bruises on Pope and JJ's faces "What the fuck happened to you guys?"
"Rafe" They both said at the same time before explaining what had happened the night her and John B weren't there.
"So Pope, what was your thought process using your head and all?" Eleanor asked, giving the boy a smile which he returned.
"I don't know, el. I just kinda acted off instinct. Alright I was a cornered animal" He shrugged causing Eleanor to chuckle.
And that's when the questions started of where her and John B had gone off too. Luckily she was saved by the bell when Heyward walked in.
"Hey Pope. Someone here to see you" Heyward informed pointed behind him to show Shoupe walking in with a not so happy look on his face.
"Evening officer" Pope said politely as he immediately tensed up to why he would be here.
"I have an arrest warrant for felony destruction of property" Shoupe explained "Keep your hands on the counter where I can see 'em"
"What?" Heyward asked in disbelief as Pope's eyes widened once he felt Shoupe put his arms behind his back before slipping the cuffs on and telling him his rights.
"Shoupe, what'd he do?" Heyward exclaimed.
"Take a look at the warrant" Shoupe replied before leading Pope out of the shop. The pogues and his dad were shouting things at Shoupe but Pope couldn't even speak. He was more worried what this meant for his future, for college? All of it was going out the window just like that.
