Zoey was at home with Bella and Charlie. She was playing in the yard whilst Bella was washing her truck when Edward jumped on the truck." Can you try and act human we have neighbors?!" Bella exclaims.

"Sorry, I wanted to invite you to my house tomorrow. Zoey is welcome to come along." Edward politely says.

"Are you sure? I mean it's the first time meeting everyone?" Bella says with an evil glint." Yeah, Esme wants to meet you and Zoey." Edward says." I don't want to go." Zoey shakes her head.

"Tough, you're going," Bella says with an evil glint in her eyes. Zoey gulps and nods."I got to go so I'll pick you two up Saturday morning." Edward says tensing up.

Zoey looks to see him leaving and Billy and Jake arriving." JAKE!!" Zoey shouts as he exits the car and helps Billy out.

"Hey Zoey, how are you?" Jake asked with a smile." I'm good thank you, how are you?" Zoey smiles as he picks her up." I'm well, you coming down the rez again soon?" Jake asked with a smile.

"Yes! I'm a rez girl aren't I?" Zoey asks with a smile." Of course, we all miss you down the rez." Jake says giving Eskimo kisses. Zoey giggles, Billy is smiling at their interaction and can't wait for the day Jake phases and imprints on a girl.

"Hi Billy, how're things with you?" Zoey greets the older black." Good, are you missing Jared?" Billy asked." I am, he's quite mad at me, isn't he? As Sam hasn't asked for me to come down this week." Zoey frowns." They are having a busy week right now but they'll have you this weekend I promise." Billy says gently. Zoey nods and smiles.

The next day, Bella drags Zoey to Cullen's house to meet them. Zoey held her backpack and toy dog close and she entered the house with Bella and Edward.

The smell of food hits their noses quickly and Edward leads them to the kitchen."I told them not to do this." He says leading Bella and Zoey into the kitchen.

They see all the Cullens cooking and they see Bella and Zoey standing there. Zoey tensed up at them all and backed away a bit.

Zoey felt the sensation of the voices rising in her head and the need to scream. Zoey opens her bag and puts her head defenders on.

"Bella! Zoey! We're making Italian for you." Esme comes forward and Zoey clutches her backpack more." This is Esme, my mother."Edward politely introduces Esme.

"Bon giorno?" Bella says."Molto bene!" Esme says. She looks at Zoey who wasn't comfortable in their home." Hello, I'm Esme, Who are you?"Esme says softly." I'm Zoey," Zoey says quietly.

"You've both given us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time." Carlise says."I hope you're both hungry." Esma says smiling.

"I can't have anything with nuts in it, I'm allergic to them. I bring my food so I know what I'm eating." Zoey says softly. Esme nods in understanding.

"Oh absolutely." Bella tells them."She already ate." Edward says. Bella shoots him a look, but something shatters. Rosalie has thrown down a bowl and now strides out and passes both Bella and Zoey.

"Perfect." Rosalie says."I just assumed because you don't eat, you know." Bella says slowly."Of course. That was very considerate of you." Esme says sounding disappointed.

"Ignore her. I do." Edward says putting an arm around Bella."Yes, let's keep pretending this isn't dangerous for all of us." Rosalie says.

"I would never, ever tell anyone." Bella says."She knows that." Carlise says reassuring them."The problem is, you two have gone public now, so.." Emmett says.

"Emmett." Esme warns him."No, she should know." Rosalie says then looks at Zoey and Bella."The entire family will be implicated if this ends badly."

"Badly?" Bella says. This hangs in the air, uncomfortably. Edward can't look at her. "Oh. Badly. Like, where we become a meal." Bella points at Zoey and herself.
