Felix pov~
All I wanted to do was kill all of those disgusting pixies. I thew as much fire as I could at the pixies, burning the tree and the ground. I smiled as i looked at the beautiful destruction. The honey was burned off of my mom since she was standing there. My mom... she was why I am like this... thank you, mom.
"Fel-Felix.. calm down," Steven stuttered out behind me. I whipped around and glared at his shaky form. He had his hands out in front of him as if to soothe me. He has been annoying this whole time, I might as well end him. A smirk slowly crept onto my face, making Steven even more nervous and me more excited.
"I am calm," I replied in a creepy calm tone as I looked at my hand and lit it with black fire. Steven widened his eyes and dropped to the ground, pulling Aurora with him, just as I threw it at him. It went over their heads and scorched the ground. I huffed and was about to throw another one at them.
"Felix," I heard my mom say sternly behind me. I slowly turned to her and tilted my head. I was fine with her being alive. "You need to calm down. Your hair has gone black," she continued calmly and began to approach me slowly.
"Actually, I feel better than I ever have," I hissed as she got closer and took a step back. She paused, then took another step closer. I glared down at her and shifted to my bird form. I flaped my wings and soared into the sky with a screech. I let my body be engulfed by the black flames and shook my feathers out.
I heard a woosh behind me and looked to see my mother following me. She is trying to stop my fun, but she will not succeed. I screeched at her and flew faster. The trees were starting to get thicker, and that gave me a great idea. I let loose a rain of fire down on the trees. I laughed as I saw creatures flee from their burning homes.
"Felix!" My mom yelled behind me. I rolled my eyes and hovered in the air. She flew next to me. "Please come back down to the ground," she pleaded with me. The look in her eyes was very funny to see. I decided to humor her.. then hurt her more.
"I guess I could find entertainment on the ground," I grumbled and quickly dived down and landed onto the ground. She landed beside me and looked around nervously... strange.
"Can you just stay here with me," she asked kindly. I stared deeply into her eyes, seeing the worry behind them.. great. She did make me happy before, but she is definitely setting me up.
I took a step toward her, and she backed up some. I felt a shiver of excitement go through me at her fear. I quickly swept a wing under her feet, but she jumped up and avoided it. She then countered me by cutting my wing with her talons as she came back down. I looked curiously at the blood on me and smiled. I kind of liked it. I turned back to my mom, who was now in a defensive stance. I lowered to the ground and fanned out my tail feathers with a hiss. A fight would be great.. to the death.
I flaped my wings and sliced at her back as I went over it. She quickly twisted her wing to block it. I landed on the ground and attacked at her open side with my wing, making a long cut. She hissed in pain and jumped back a few yards away from me.
"Come on, mom, teach me some more," I taunted her as I tilted my head. She glared at me and lit on fire. Her wound was healing up. I huffed at her loss of pain and flew back into the sky. She chased after me and started to gain on me. I quickly turned around and swiped at her with my wing. She flaped her wings quickly and managed to stop from being hit. I took my chance and immediately dived back to the ground. I quickly landed and sent as much wind as I could up at her as she tried to come down. I laughed as she was knocked out of the sky and crashed into the ground. The sight of her pathetically sprawled on the ground was amazing.
"This is not you, Felix," she huffed as she slowly got back up and ruffled her feathers. I smirked at her.
"I do not really care," I responded with a shrug of my wings. It feels great to be like this. She was about to say something else but then took a quick glance behind me, then back at me. So fast I almost thought i imagined it.. but i did not. I quickly turned around to see Aurora and hundreds of other small fairies behind me.
I hissed at them and fanned out my flaming tail feathers. Whatever they were here for was not good for me. They quickly circled around me, and I whipped my head back and forth, trying to watch them all.
I lunged at one part of them but hit into a wall and fell to the ground. "What are you annoying creatures up to," I hissed at them as I stood up. They did not answer, and I grew more angry at them.
Before I could do anything else, the fairies began to glow brightly. I felt myself tense up and then not able to move. They slowly drew closer to me. No! I do not want these snacks to touch me! The closer they got, the brighter it got. Once they all had their hands on me, I could only see white. After a moment, the white went away, and my vision grew dark as I collapsed.
