Aurora pov~
I stared down at the unconsciousness form of Felix on the ground, panting. He was in his human form. His hair only had a small strand of black in it. That would be permanent.
I looked at all of my fairy family greatfully. They were mostly sitting on the ground and panting.
"Thank you so much for helping my son," Scarlett said as she shifted to human and kneeled beside him, brushing some hair from his face.
"I am his friend too," I replied kindly as I sent her a gentle smile. She looked at me with such gratitude that I smiled bigger.
I heard a thud behind me and felt arms wrap around my waist. "I am so glad you are ok," Steven mumbled through my hair as he kissed the top of my head. I tilted my head back to look up at him and smiled, letting my wings wrap around him.
"Now let's go home," Scarlett said as she picked up Felix and smiled at us. She waved Steven off as he started to try to take Felix from her. "I am stronger than I look," she chuckled.
Steven sighed and turned back around. I said my goodbyes to the fairies, and we thanked them for all of their help.
An hour later, we were walking through the entrance of the village. I looked around at all of the amazing houses that were wrapped all around the trees. We ignored the looks of the people around us and followed Steven to a house on the ground.
Steven hesitantly knocked on the door, and a moment later, a tired looking man holding a cup opened the door. He froze in shock, and the cup slipped from his hand and shattered on the ground.
Silent tears were trailing down Scarlett's face. "I am back," she mumbled out and did a little shrug of her shoulders. And just like that, he unfroze and wrapped her and Felix in a hug. They were both crying happily, and the man pulled away, looking down at Felix.
"What happened," he asked as worry laced his tone. Scarlett released a short breath, almost a laugh.
"We might want to sit down for this," she said pointly and motioned towards the house with her head. The man looked flustered as he quickly moved to the side and let us in. We went to the couches and began the story.
Felix pov~
I stirred awake and slowly moved my hand up to my head. It was throbbing horribly. I sat up in my bed and huffed. Wait.. I quickly looked around as I realized I was in my room.. in my house.. in the village..
I quickly shot out of the bed and then held onto the wall as my vision went black, but shook it off and stumbled out into the hall way in to the living room.
I stopped and just stared at my mom and dad casually sitting on the couch. Dad looked over at me and smiled, motioning me over to them. I stumbled over to them, confused and flopped onto the couch across from them.
"I am so proud of you, son," he chuckled as he grabbed the hand of my mom. I smiled at them and then went and wrapped them both in a huge hug. We stayed like that for a while, then parted. "But," my dad said as I sat back down, and I quickly looked back at him. "That was extremely reckless of you to get hit by that corruption," he continued in a stern voice.
I stared at him for a moment before bursting out laughing. He paused and then joined in as did mom. We sat there for a while and just talked.
The next day, I got up in the morning and felt much more refreshed. I quickly put on some clothes and left my room. I smiled as I saw my mom and dad making breakfast. I stole a piece of bread and ran out of the house with their shouts of annoyance behind me. I shifted to my bird form and flew into the air with the bread in my mouth.
The village now treated me with high respect for saving them and for all I did. I looked to the side and saw Tyler. He saw me and gave a small nod of acknowledgment. I chuckled and continued on till I was at the top of one of the highest trees.
I looked down at the village and saw Steven and Aurora leave Steven's home. His mom hit him on his head and shook her finger at him about something. I smiled and finished off my bread.
I am happy that everything is fixed... mostly. I took off into the sky at a blinding speed and flew over the land. I was now the protector of these lands and would not let any creatures terrorize others. I let the wind currents take me where they wanted and scanned the ground.
Since my corruption and healing, I have felt a little different. A permanent scar on me forever. A little bit of black in my blue hair and.. crazy. I find myself wanting to do dangerous things.
I smiled as I saw the village of werecats below me and then turned south. I really want to find a volcano and dive into it, mom said that it would probably feel like taking a really hot bath for me since I was only part phoenix. Still want to do it, though.
I take a deep breath of the air and smell the sent of an ocean. I continued flying, knowing I would find an ocean in the next few minutes.
I enjoyed the wind hitting against my wings, and I flaped them more. I stared at the beautiful blue ocean in front of me. I took in its beauty and then tilted my head curiously as I saw a ship heading this way. I smiled mischievously and decided to play with them and changed my direction to head for the ship.
The End...
