What are our true colors?
Is it actions? Reactions?
Fractions of ourselves that no one sees?Do you think there's a color connected to our spirit?
Like aquamarine, yellow or red?
Maybe it's a light or shade instead. When we presume doom, are we always a pessimist? Are we illogical for looking for the light at the end of the tunnel? Or maybe we're realists pouring our true emotions through a funnel.
How about no colors?
Yeah, how about that?
Let's say I'm water made up of colorless chemicals that you see, but you can also see through me
Or I'm clear plastic and when I burn I kill the lot of you, slowly and you know I'm pretty, but I'm not real, yet you sugar coat my zeal.
Let's say I'm clear glass... Oh better yet, a mirror. Seeing your reflection is better than seeing through me, but there are no promises that you're going to like what you see.
So, really, what are our true colors?
