The happy truth

Wrote this for a friend who got way too emotional when they read sad truth. Let's just say a coin has two faces

I am the sun that shines
On my friends' unhappiness
On their loneliness
I am that of a blooming flower
The delight grows more
You uncover
Sweetly they applaud
My vivacity, my truth
There's nothing that's uncooth
My spirit soars
And while in search
I greet experiences pearched
Thoughtful, caring, sparkling eyes
Looking at you,
Sees beautiful skies
The innocent smile
Reassures you for a while
You can't understand
Why I'm so nice
You had thought
I was cold as ice
I bet you were amazed
When you saw the angel
In the devil's clothing
You wonder why I
Wouldn't show that part within
But I like for people
To look deeper
There's always something unseen
Sometimes it's obscene
Laugh out loud!
You're allowed
You're around me!
The flirty, fun, exciting
The smiling, loud and inviting
I'm so cute, I know
I have admirers
That won't let go
Be happy!
I command you!
Gloominess is catching
So don't be sad and blue
I am the sunshine
That warms the hearts
And gives the kindness
Have you ever seen
Anything of the likeness?
I'm that of a happy girl
Who'd like for everyone to be happy too
I hope that's not too hard for you.
