I love you
Don't I?
I do
Somewhere
Down there
I think it's true
So I try
I say it to the air
And get no reply
Is it in me
Do you see?
I feel it all the while
Or are they dreams of a child?
As I wonder, I gaze
But there is nothing
To clear the haze
Maybe I'm not mature
Enough within
My emotions have
Gone with the wind
Full of wonder
Full of doubt
Is it love for me
Or a mirage in a drought.
