Why do I write?
I write because my soul speaks
And someone needs to hear
It speaks of love and kindness
Of hope and despair
I write
Because of this overflowing
Fountain of words
So many sights unseen
So many truths unheard
I write
For the calming of the mind
The enlightment of the spirit
Painting knowledge into nature
And the wisdom of the world in it
Writing releases me
When silence captures me
When emotions are confusing
When my mind I am losing
Don't think, just feel
Deep expressions become real
Stories have started to be told
Works of art that never grow old
I write...
because it is my reflection.
