As I look at my life
I see it slipping from my hands
Just like sand
I can't change what I see
I have a look but don't touch policyI'm both confused and happy
I see what I think I want
And don't really need it
But maybe should have itSickening to my heart it is
To know that at anytime
It can be gone
Yet I will not grasp it
For the fear of something unseenIt can be built on lies
And it can be truthful
The problem is, it's too sweet
Because we always meetBut what I fear
More than what I can't see clear
Is that if I don't start to care
For a thing so dear
When I really need it
And run happily to it
It won't be there.S.K.Malcolm
