Sun smiles for me
There's a boy I love to see
Me, he isn't even close to hate
I feel my thoughts are irate
Flowers bloom for me
While I'm laughing at a bee
Mistakes were made
But life goes on
Assuring I try to sound
God is with me
I'm happy he kept me alive
And for his love I will strive
Puppies cuddle near my feet
Check me out! My clothes look so neat!
Probably it's someone I'll meet
Or I'm just giving myself a treat
I begin to glow
My body is going with the flow
I know all that I should know
While I still continue to grow
Although it's rather slow
Someone looks at me
And says I'm an angel
And offers metal wings
Out of all the many nice things
Someone looks in the sky
Looking for my eyes
When they're right here
I laugh and say
He's got a lot of time to spare
Writing my heart out
Every time I get a chance
Is my leisure enhanced
Goodbye,
I leave you now
To figure me out
And find what this poem
Is all about.
