Luhan had been very busy. After he was granted permission to survey for his suggestion, he dedicated most of his office time to crafting the necessary papers for his initiative.
"Luhan-hyung, have you surveyed for your idea yet?" Yuta asked.
"I have scheduled to have a meeting with the Domestic and Citizenry Affairs, Legislation and Judicature, and Economics and Employment today. Tomorrow is scheduled for Science and Technology, Finance and Taxation, and Diplomatic and Foreign Affairs," Luhan laid out his schedule.
"Will you be able to finish it, hyung? His Excellence wants you to present the preliminary plans as soon as possible," Taeyong was concerned.
"It's okay. I can manage to finish over the weekend," Luhan eased their worries with a smile.
"Just don't push yourself too hard, hyung. We can always ask for a reschedule. His Excellence won't mind," Taeyong added as an afterthought.
Looking at the time, Luhan quickly prepared his laptop and a pile of papers for the meeting.
"Natae-ssi, can you assist me with the meeting? The others have paperwork to do and it would be great if I have a helping hand," Luhan told the intern.
"I'm sorry, Luhan-ssi, I also had stuff to do today. Maybe tomorrow?" Natae replied with an obviously fake smile. The other seven people, other than the two employees conversing, turned their heads swiftly at the answer with confusion on their faces.
"It's all right. Sorry to have bothered you," Luhan nodded with a smile before heading to the other end of the hallway for his first meeting.
Luhan greeted Ruth as he passed by. Luhan was slightly nervous, it was his first time meeting his coworkers from the Department of Domestic and Citizenry Affairs.
"Good morning. I am Lu Han from the Department of Education. I have scheduled a meeting today," Luhan spoke in a soft tone.
"Ah, yes. Welcome, Luhan-ssi. I am Kim Sojeong but you can call me Sowon. I am the assistant chief for Domestic and Citizenry Affairs," Sowon stood up. "Since you're here, I guess we should start the meeting. Everyone, let's go to Zephyr Conference Room."
The group entered the said room. Zephyr Conference Room was the exclusive conference room for the Department of Domestic and Citizenry Affairs. In fact, all departments had their own conference rooms with unique nicknames for easy identification.
"Now, that we are here, allow me to reintroduce myself. I am Lu Han from the Department of Education. Looking forward to working with you."
"I am Kim Sojeong or Sowon, assistant chief and executive assistant for the Bureau of Statistics and Civil Registry."
"I am Jung Yerin for the Bureau of Culture and Arts."
