44: Catch You Catch Me: Part 2

"Sorry to have kept you waiting, my bunny Myeon."

"You heard me?"

"Every single word."

When things dawned on Suho, he threw himself on Lay's chest and cried his eyes out.

"You're here! I finally found you! It was taking too long and I really, really missed you. And when the others have started to find their significant others one by one, I couldn't help but feel jealous," Suho was pouring out his emotions once more. "I'm sorry if I couldn't save you back then. I almost lost my mind when that intern poisoned you last night; I thought I was gonna lose you again."

"Shhh... It's okay, Myeon. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere," Lay just affectionately patted Suho's hair to give him comfort.

"I'm sorry if I'm too emotional right now. But I'm just happy, and relieved, and excited, and... oh, I can't describe how I feel right now," Suho continued.

Lay understood how Suho might have felt, "You did well just holding on your own. But I'm here now so just let it all out. I'm here for you."

Lay allowed Suho to sob on his chest, reassuring him by rubbing Suho's back. With his memories now accessible, he quickly empathized how hard it must have been for Suho to lose him, and to look for him for years. The memories had just returned but Lay was smart enough to prioritize the relevant thoughts for the current situation.

While Suho was still crying on his chest, he noticed that Sehun was calling on Junmyeon's phone. As a courtesy to Sehun, he answered the call.

"Suho-hyung, where are you right now? Your symbol just changed color," came Sehun's voice from across the line.

Intimidated by Sehun's voice and not wanting to disturb Suho at the moment, Lay dropped the call without warning. He figured that if Sehun would be angry at him, at least they were the same status now and he had the upper hand as the elder of the two.

Suho continued to seek comfort on Lay's chest for an extended period. They were only interrupted when the door suddenly opened with a slight bang.

"Would you like to explain anything, Kim Junmyeon?"

Four luxurious cars entered the hospital's underground parking in a convoy. Out of the BMW M2 came Kai and Kyungsoo. Beside them, Chanyeol and Baekhyun exited the Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG. From the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 emerged Kris and Tao. Finally, Sehun and Luhan got off from an Audi R8. Indeed, it was a spectacle to see.

"Good morning, Your Excellences!" the head of security greeted the legends. "What brings all of you to our hospital?"

"We're here to visit a patient. No need to be on alert," Kris told the security head.

"Entrance is this way, Your Excellences," the head of security ushered them.

If the head of security was flustered, imagine how rattled the receptionist was when she saw seven legends in front of her (Tao wasn't counted yet as he was not yet announced to the public).

"Good morning, Your Excellences! Are you also here for Zhang Yixing-nim?" the receptionist blurted out.

"Also?" Kyungsoo caught the keyword.

"His Excellence Kim Junmyeon is also here visiting Zhang Yixing-nim," the receptionist supplied.

The eight looked at each with smirks on their faces, "I think we have the answer to our mystery."
