A BMW M2 and a Maserati Ghibli arrived and parked in a four-car garage. It was Kai and Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo asked Kai to sleep over for the night to accommodate Baekhyun's birthday celebration tomorrow. Kyungsoo was slowly getting over his separation anxiety as Kai gradually convinced him that he was not going away.

"I'm not exaggerating when I say this feels more like a home when you're here," Kyungsoo said as they passed the gallery from the garage.

"I know you want me to move it with you, but it will be another adjustment for me, Soo. All my life, I've always with my friends whom I consider family," Kai pulled Kyungsoo to face him and placed a peck on his lips. "I'm still adjusting to my new status. I cannot afford another adjustment period right at the moment."

"Sorry. It was inconsiderate of me," Kyungsoo pouted. "I just want to have you around the house so bad."

"Nonsense. I understand how you feel, Soo. I also can't wait to have you alone in this house... just the two of us... doing intimate stuff," Kai whispered huskily into Kyungsoo's ear, causing the poor lawyer to blush beet red. "Just wait for a couple of months. Then, I will be able to satisfy all your desires."

"Let's just have dinner," Kyungsoo ran away from Kai.

While Kai did not officially move in just yet, he already had some stuff over like clothes, and toiletries. Kyungsoo already made little adjustments and traces of Kai were obvious throughout the house.

Similar to the last time Kai was here, Kyungsoo did all the cooking. Kai wouldn't mind, he himself admitted his cooking skills were abysmal. Kyungsoo masterfully prepared spaghetti bolognese, bruschetta, French fries, and red wine.

"Soo, this looks delicious," Kai back-hugged Kyungsoo.

"Just take a seat," Kyungsoo's cheeks grew pinkish.

"Jal meokkesseumnida!" Kai was ready to dig in.

"Manhi meogeo," Kyungsoo looked at Kai affectionately.

"This pasta is delicious. I like this one better than the one you cooked last Friday night."

"Glad you like it."

Needless to say, Kai devoured the meal. Kyungsoo had to stop Kai when the younger was indulging in the red wine a bit too much.

"Aren't you drinking wine too much?" Kyungsoo was concerned. "I know tomorrow's a Saturday but remember, it's Baekhyun-hyung's birthday tomorrow."

"I know," Kai answered with a toothy smile. "I'm just enjoying my time with you."

"It's getting late. We need to be early tomorrow to buy Baekhyun-hyung's gift," Kyungsoo reminded Kai.

"Go ahead and wash up. I'll be the one to do the dishes tonight," Kai told Kyungsoo.

"Are you sure?"

"Or perhaps you want to wash up together?" Kai suggested suggestively.

The provocative idea from Jongin made Kyungsoo run to the master suite with red cheeks. Kai, on the other hand, was just amused with his legend of the earth's reaction.

"Cute," Kai mumbled while looking at Kyungsoo's retreating figure.

"Meet me at the office after shift hours," the message read.

Luhan glanced at the clock, ten minutes left before their shift ended. Luhan decided to kill the time by finishing his presentation on Monday. He had to present the implementing guidelines, rules, and regulations for the alternative learning system to the provincial supervisors.
