It was still early on a Friday morning but the twelve guardian legends were already near the peak of Mount Dobong. Due to the Exordium, Chanyeol declared a suspension of work throughout the whole planet. With them were the five Mystics. It was the day of the total solar eclipse and also the Exordium. While the Mystics were not supposed to be there when the ritual happened, they were there to provide last-minute reminders to the legends to ensure the success of the Exordium.
"Good morning, Your Excellences. I hope you are all ready for the Exordium," Onew said to the guardian legends. "We, the Mystics, are here today to assist in the last-minute preparations of the Exordium."
"First and foremost, you will perform the ritual in this formation," Jonghyun showed them a diagram of how and in what manner should they stand during the ritual. "While this seemed optional, we decided to take every step just to ensure the success of the ritual."

"Secondly, you will have to wear these robes when performing the ritual. And just like before, while it could be omitted from the ritual, we better not leave anything to chance," Minho added.
"How about the spell?" Suho inquired.
"That is actually the tricky part. The instructions to the Exordium and the spell were written in a language that doesn't exist on our planet, so even the five of us do not understand what it says nor know how to read the spell," Key mentioned. "But fret not, we decided to ask the honorable members of the Ten Premiers of the Arcanus Alliance for their help in interpreting the spell. Thankfully, the Warren Line Witches and the Master of Death managed to understand the spell. They were also the ones who suggested to push through with the required formation and the usage of the robes."
"We have written the spell on your robes. That way, you will be able to read it without bringing anything to the Exordium site. The Warren Line Witches were also kind enough to re-write the spell using our system of writing so that you will be able to read the words easier," Taemin reassured. "By the way, the members of the Ten Premiers would like to extend to Your Excellences their wishes on the success of the Exordium ritual."
"So, how should the ritual proceed?" Kris asked.
"Both the ritual and the spell will be done in three parts," Onew started to explain. "The first part should happen just before the solar eclipse reaches totality. At that point, all twelve must simultaneously recite the first part of the spell twice. After that, the second and third part of the ritual and the spell should be performed and recited before the totality of the eclipse ends."
"But according to the Bureau of Astronomy and Meteorology, the totality of the eclipse will be at exactly 12:48 at noon and will only last about ninety seconds," Chen recalled the crucial information from Renjun, Jeno, and Jaemin. "With that, we only have a window of one hundred twenty seconds to perform the ritual."
