The day after Baekhyun and Luhan were announced to the public, the rest of the departments made their courtesy calls to the two legends. The departments were glad though that they were someone familiar since breaking the ice might have been difficult.
When the Department of Infrastructure returned to their office after the courtesy call, Gyoman did not waste time antagonizing Tao.
"Are the new designs ready, Tao-ssi? His Excellence needs to see something by the end of the day," Gyoman told Tao. "Why can't you be like me? I can make at least two designs per day. That is how talented I am."
"I'm almost done, Gyoman-ssi. Just putting up the finishing touches," Tao was talking without his eyes leaving the vellum paper.
Gyoman walked around and glanced at Tao's design. Unexpectedly, she was impressed with Tao's design. Gyoman was threatened; She didn't want Kris to see Tao's designs as she knew Kris would like them. Thus, she began devising a plan on how to destroy Tao's blueprints.

Lunchtime came and the cafeteria was bustling with people. Since the cafeteria operates like a self-service buffet, the kitchen staff had some time to spare talking to the receptionists.
"Did you know, Jiltu, the intern from natural resources, was arrested yesterday for stealing His Excellence's Byun Baekhyun's ring which was a birthday gift from His Excellence Park Chanyeol," Lucy delivered the news.
"Really? I heard that Noe Natae, the intern from education, was fired after plagiarizing His Excellence Lu Han's report and presenting it as her own paper for her doctorate. If it wasn't for His Excellence Oh Sehun being a panel for her paper, she might have gotten away with it," Ruth shared what she knew.
"So, after that crazy Saekyok, two other interns went awry as well?" Aiben gasped.
"I told you before it's the seven deadly sins which we should be worried about," Jay took a bite of his mango cheesecake.
"And somehow, a pattern emerges," Ada was quick-witted.
"What pattern?" Jasmin was curious.
"Ok, let's try if you'll notice," Ada changed her tone to a quizmaster. "The first scenario is Saekyok flirting with Jongin-nim. The second scenario is Natae copying Luhan-nim's work. The third scenario is Jiltu stealing Baekhyun-nim's gift."
It took a while but Belle was the first to figure it out, "The interns messed with the new employees. The employees turned out to be the missing legends and the interns were punished for their actions."
"Now that you put it like that... wow," Clouie was fascinated.
"I think I might give Minseok-ssi a bit of a special treatment just in case," Hana joked. "His Excellence Kim Jongdae has been flirting with him openly in public after knowing Minseok-ssi's crush on him. And not just playful teasing, more like subtle courting disguised as teasing."
"You never know. Everything might be just a huge coincidence after all," Sheryl said.
"There are no coincidences in this world, there is only inevitability," Jay remarked as he took the last bite of his cheesecake.

"Tao-ssi, are you done?" Gyoman asked for the nth time that day.
"Almost. Just double checking the scaling and dimensions and then we could go to His Excellence," Tao responded.
"Like I would allow that to reach His Excellence," Gyoman internally told herself.
