Tao woke up to the sound of the dawn chorus just outside their window. As soon as he opened his eyes, he was face-to-face with a peacefully sleeping Kris whose arm was draped over his clothed waist. He shamelessly stared at Kris' features— his eyes, nose, still slightly swollen lips from their kissing activities last night, and just the overall visuals of Kris.
Kris suddenly opened his eyes, "Are you done appreciating me?"
"Who said I was— no, I was not!" Tao was startled when he got busted.
"Don't worry. You are beautiful as well," Kris leaned in to peck Tao's lips. "It's still early. Go back to sleep. We are going to the mall today."
Tao simply obeyed Kris's instructions. He snuggled closer to Kris and let himself fall back to sleep. The next thing Tao perceived was Kris waking him up.
"Wake up, Panda," Kris whispered to Tao while gently shaking him awake.
Stirring awake, Tao asked, "What time is it?"
"It's almost nine in the morning. Wash up now so we could go to the mall," Kris pulled Tao up.
Ever obedient, Tao made his way to the master bathroom to wash up. After taking a quick shower, Tao entered the walk-in closet closest to the bathroom; Kris said that both the smallest and the largest walk-in closets of the three were his. Fully dressed in a white polo shirt, brown pants, a black cap, and shoes, Tao was surprised to see the breakfast prepared by Kris. It was just a simple breakfast consisting of French toast, scrambled eggs, and orange juice.
"Kris, this is amazing," Tao exclaimed after taking a bite out of the French toast.
Kris, who was wearing a simple white shirt, gray pants, a yellow jacket tied around his waist, and white shoes, smiled at the reaction of his panda. It didn't take long for them to finish breakfast.
Today, Kris opted to use Tao's Lamborghini Aventador as their transport vehicle. And although it was Tao's car, Kris was the one driving. It didn't take long for them to reach the mall.
The presence of two guardian legends stirred the crowd. After all, it was rare to see all of them outside of work hours so this kind of reaction was expected. What's good though was that the citizens never bothered them too much and respected the two's privacy, allowing them to walk around the mall with ease.
"Do you have anything you want to buy or check, panda?" Kris asked his legend of time.
"I wanted to check the new products from Gucci. The last time I went there, Lay-hyung was with me but that crazy tabloid woman and her cameraman disrupted us," Tao recalled.
"In that case, let's go to the Gucci store."
And to the Gucci store they went. Tao immediately pulled Kris to the men's section of the store. The staff recognized them and someone was deployed to assist them. Tao looked at the available ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, wallets, belts, silver jewelry, watches, eyewear, and even small accessories. It did not go unnoticed to Kris when Tao stopped at the sneakers display and sighed.
"Anything you liked?" Kris asked his panda.
"Actually, I have been eyeing these three sneakers for a while now but my savings do not allow me to purchase any of these yet," Tao mentioned. He was looking at a pair of blue GG sneakers, a pair of gray and dark blue lace-up sneakers, and a pair of light brown and white screener GG sneakers.
