Chapter 11

Kendal's POV

What was happening? Everyone was turning on each other. Why? How?

Somewhere deep inside I knew Lena didn't mean what she said. For some reason I couldn't say anything to her. I was shocked by her words. She couldn't mean them, not after what she said earlier.

I did truly and deeply like her. Maybe even love her. I would only put her in danger. I could hurt her. That's what I do. I hurt people. Sometimes on accident.

" What is it, Tyler?" Tonya asked jerking her head in his direction.

He came closer to us. " You see those two girls over there?" He asked us. Carefully, I looked over to see who was over there. "They have some kind of hold on us. You guys, they're making us act like this. Pretend I just said something that made you guys really angry." He said and shoved me away. " You need to fight it, but pretend to hate each other."

" I swear I could kill you right now." Mikell yelled.

" Really? Then do it." Tonya said stepping in his face.

" You slut!" Lena shouted at Tonya shoving her to the side trying not to hurt her. Her eyes said she was sorry, but her body language said I'm gonna kill you.

" Who are you calling a slut, whore?" Tonya shouted and pushed her back.

" On three, Lena. I need you to put them in a choke hold." Tyler suggested.

" Dude, get off of me. I'm not your bitch." Tyler yelled at Danielle." One." He whispered.

" I swear if you don't stop with the unnecessary bull I'm going to rip you to shreds." I told Mikell grabbing a fist full of his shirt.

" Two."

" I swear I could-" I was cut off by Tyler.

"Three!" He shouted and Lena turned around quickly and shoved the girls against the wall. Tonya swiftly ran to the girls and stood in front of them, crossing her arms.

" Tell me who you are and I won't get my pain inflicting friend on your asses." I over heard her say. All of us silently, but quickly walked to the two girls. They exchanged glances and smirked.

" Do you really think we would tell you that?" They both said.

" I oughta rip your throat out." Tonya said as she got in their faces angrily.

" You wouldn't." Said the girl on the left. She had dark brown hair and electric green eyes. The other one had blond hair and electric green eyes. They were twins.

Tonya pulled back and smirked. " You're right. I wouldn't." She paused and got in their face again . " I would do much worse." She said in the blond girls ear. Her voice was raspy and dry. She sounded cold and tired.

The twins exchanged looks again and a look of anxiety crossed their face.

I wanted so badly to kill them. They made me so angry. So.....ugh. I don't even know the word for it.

" Just answer our questions and we let you go." I said.

" Just tell us your names at least." Danielle said rolling his eyes in frustration.

" I'm Chrissy and that's Tina." Said the first twin pointing to the second one.

" Now, where are the others?" I asked angrily.

" Sorry, hon, but we can't tell you that either." Chrissy smirked and Tina just shook her head. I rolled my eyes.

" You two are quite the pair. Tell me, who built you?" Tyler asked trying to fight back a smile.

" Very funny." Tina replied.

" You know for a couple of hot chicks you two sure are cold." Tyler said shaking his head in disappointment and crossed his arms.

" Just wait. When all humans are gone we come for you next." Chrissy said pointing to all of us. " I'll specifically come for you myself." She pointed to Tyler and scowled.

My blood was boiling. She threatened my friends. It was like she wanted to die. I would be happy to grant that wish.

Blood rushed through my head and I lashed out. I lunged at her. I kept my entire focus on her. I made a note to not kill her right away.

I was only one step away from wrapping my hands around her neck when a hand shot out and grabbed me. I was pulled away from the twins. I didn't take my eyes off of them until I realized who had pulled me back. Tonya. She looked at me with cold eyes. She gave me a look that said don't-do-this . Unfortunately I didnt listen.

I don't need to physically touch someone to hurt them. All I needed were a few dark thoughts and the victim. I imagined myself choking her. Watching as the lights went out in her eyes. I saw as she began to choke and claw at an invisible force. She was going to die.

" Kendal. Don't!" Someone shouted. Lena.

I ignored her and continued to slowly end her life.

" Kendal!" She shouted again and if it hadn't been for her tackling me I still wouldn't have listened.

She pinned me to the ground. Her hands pinning my wrists and her legs crossed on mine so I was unable to move. Her hair spilled around my face like a wall. As she looked at me with eyes that said I-know-you- aren't-evil-so-why-are-you-acting-like-it.

" You can't do this. She said.

" And why the hell not?" I yelled at her struggling against her grip.

" Because we need answers and if they're dead then we're shit out of luck." She yelled back not loosening her grip.

" I apologize, but as soon we get our stupid answers they're dead. Okay?"

" I won't stop you."

Those words came a shock to me. Behalf expected her to slap me in the face, but half expected her to object.

" I'm going to get off of you now." She said smiling letting my arms go. She swug her legs over and stood up. She held her hand out for me to take.

I hestitated before taking it. It felt fragile in my hand. Like a porcelain doll that worked a lot.

I fixed my shirt as I walked past the twins. " You are so damn lucky that I listen to my friends." I said with a snarl.

" Alright, start talking."
