Lena's POV

Two days ago I would have told Kendal how ridiculous he was about having false accusations about Jackson. Two days ago I would have thought that Jackson was a good human, but now I'm not so sure.

As he lay on the same sofa I wonder if maybe he was like all humans. The way he asked so many questions and they way he stared at all of us. Like he could get all of his answers just by looking at us.

" Hey, Lena." Tonya came up to me and cleared her throat awkwardly. " I'm pretty sure Kendal has a crush on Jackson. Just look at the way he looks at him." She pointed at Kendal who was attending to one of our hover boards. He looked at Jackson with an angry expression. A look of evil, but at the same Tim's it looked like he wanted something from him, but couldn't get it.

" You clearly can't tell the difference between hate and lust." I say brushing past her. She pulled my shoulder and I jerked away from her.

" What is your deal?" She yells.

" Not now Tonya." I say attempting to walk away.

" You're keeping something from me and I want to know what it is." She yells a little louder. I stop in my tracks and bite my lip. I was hesitant on telling them any information. Why though?

I turn on my heel trying to avoid anyone's state. I pull her to the side. " I need you to stop, okay. I need you to trust me."

" No. What's so important that you can't tell me?" Her voice becomes softer and hard to resist. She always had her way with words. I hated it.

I sigh and give in. This wasn't loosing friends over. " Kendal suspects something of Jackson. He says he's just like all other humans. That he isn't to be trusted." I say.

" But how? Jackson was hurt by humans. If he was one them how come they did that to him?" She whispers trying to avoid anyone's attention.

" That's what I said, but then again how come he keeps asking all of these questions. Why does he act like he's apart of us?" I ask.

"Wait a minute, so he said his parents were killed by humans and that his house was burned by them. All because he was part of a blended family. That's what he told you, right? He also he had two sisters that were apart of the compound?" I shake my head unable to understand what she was saying. She smiled, " Come with me." She heads toward the trailer where Jackson was.

" Jackson, we needed to ask you a question." Tonya says sitting on the table ledge.

" What is it?"

We smile innocently. " We really apologize we're very forgetful. Could you tell me again how many siblings you had?" She asks grinning.

He looks at us curiously and began to speak, " Two sisters. Why is that important?" He asks eyeing me.

" Like we said: forgetful." I say and drag Tonya away.

We went back outside and find Tilar.

" Tilar." I call waving her over.

"What is it? I'm the middle of a killer game of tag." She jokes jogging in place.

" Trust me this is way more important." We pulled her further away from the rest.

" Don't tell Jackson anything, okay. He isn't to be trusted as of now. Kendal has this theory that he isn't a good human. Frankly, I'm starting to think good humans are like fairy dust and unicorns." I say my eyes drifting to Kendal.

" Wait, he's a spy?" She whispers.

" Sort of, not really." I say pretending to weigh my hands.

" Should we tell the guys, I mean they have the biggest mouths?" Tilar says turning her head to watch Mikell.
