Voss offered a faint smile but didn't say a word, his hand instinctively moving to rub his arm where his soulmate tattoo was now forming as Y/N keeps telling him about the meaning of soulmates.

Their world was shattered when Voss's younger sister, Elise, fell gravely ill. The local medical facilities couldn't provide the specialized care she needed, forcing the Zwingli family to make a heartbreaking decision. They had to relocate to a city where Elise could receive the necessary treatment, separating Voss and Y/N.

Years passed, and Y/N and Voss went down different paths. Y/N's playful spirit and mischievousness only grew, while Voss's stoicism and pessimism began to change, he became more different than when he was before. Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she remembered their earlier conversation about soulmates. "What do you mean, Voss?"
