Family Shattered Part 3, Chapter 1
At Alexis's place—Alexis was at home, remembering what happened last night. She couldn't believe she slept with Ric. Just then, there was a knock on the door. She didn't want to see anyone. When she opened it, it was Nikolas.
"Nikolas, why are you here?" she asked. "I know you were upset last night at the gala, so I wanted to check on you." "You're so sweet. It was just upsetting seeing the Quartermaines get their happy ending. I'm glad AJ is awake, but Molly will never come back. It's not the Quartermaines' fault." "No, but I understand why you're upset." "Yes." "Where did you go?" she asked. "To see Ric. I made another stupid mistake." "You slept with him?" "It was just sex." "You both understand each other right now?" "Yes, but I'm in a relationship with Ned." "You need to figure out what you want." "Yes, I do. What about you? Are you back together with Gia?" "No, we are just friends." "What about Liza?" "That was just fun." "We are both a mess, aren't we?" "We are, Cassadine." "Yes." "Does Ric have any clues about where Luis is?" "No, but I have an idea of who can help me." At General Hospital—Skye, Ned, Michael, and Tracy were in the hallway when Steve came by.
"We had an exam on AJ last night and this morning. Everything is looking great, and he can come home today," he told them.
"Thank you, Dr. Webber," Tracy said.
"You're welcome. I'm glad he woke up," Steve replied.
"Me too," Michael said as Josslyn came over.
"Michael, is everything okay?" Josslyn asked.
"Yes. My father is awake. Why are you here?" Michael responded.
"To see the twins," Josslyn said.
As Portia came along, she said, "Michael, I was just about to call you. The twins can come home today."
"Thank you," Michael replied.
"So, the twins were born?" Skye asked.
"Yes. They were born after my mother was in a car accident and died. The twins were premature," Michael explained.
"I had many differences with Carly, but I'm sorry about that," Skye said.
"Thanks," Michael replied.
"I'm going to see AJ," Skye announced and left.
"Michael, you know mom wouldn't want Quartermaines to raise the twins," she added.
"My family isn't evil! If I had been raised by my father, I wouldn't have been shot or gone to jail," Michael said.
"Michael, you protected me," she responded.
"Yes, and I don't regret that. I don't want this to come between us," Michael said.
