At the Quartermaine mansion-AJ and Elizabeth were talking. "AJ, will it help your case if you are married to someone?" Elizabeth asked. "I don't know, I'm not even in a relationship," AJ replied. "The reason I called off my engagement to Matt is that I'm in love with you," Elizabeth confessed. "You love me?" AJ asked. "Yes, I love you too, but I can't ask you to do this and marry me," Elizabeth said. "AJ, I want to do this," Elizabeth added, and she kissed him.

At Josslyn's—Josslyn was at home when Michael came in. "Josslyn, you need to stop this custody case because you will not win. I will use my family's resources to make sure AJ keeps the twins. I wouldn't let them have the same childhood I did," Michael said. "The twins are the last thing mom left, and I want them to know her," Josslyn replied. "They will. I'll make sure of it, and you can be in the twins' lives. Do you want this? You are raising Donna too." "No, what I want is Mom." "Me too," Josslyn said. "Let me think about this," Michael responded and left.

At Lila's Hotel-Nina was having a drink when Ava approached. "May I join you?" Ava asked. "Are you here to accuse me of stealing your daughter?" Nina questioned. "I was wrong. I was jealous of the relationship you were developing with my daughter when I was in jail," Ava admitted as she sat down. "I understand why you were jealous and worried you wouldn't get out," Nina said. "Yes, I was. But now I'm going to be clean," Ava replied. "You are?" Nina asked. "Yes, I'm just going to open the art gallery—that's it," Ava responded. "That's good. I miss you," Nina said. "I miss you too," Ava replied.
