At Adam and Lila Rae's house, Rae was unpacking her belongings when her cellphone rang. "Lila Rae Alcazar, what do you want? I thought you didn't need me anymore," Lila Rae asked as she hung up the phone and Adam came in. "Is everything okay?" "Yes, we have this beautiful house, and soon we'll be a powerful couple." "Yes, we will," Adam said as they shared a kiss.
At the Quartermaine mansion—Jr. was in the den when Lois came in. "Lois," Jr. said. "Are you here to see my daughter?" "Yes, I am. Lois, I know you don't like me, but I love your daughter, and I will be the husband she needs me to be." "There's just something about you I don't like. I know you're hiding something." "What do you want to know?" "Why don't you drink?" "Because I'm an alcoholic." "Oh. Have you ever been arrested?" "Yes." "For what?" Lois asked as Brooklyn came in. "What's going on?" Brooklyn asked. "I'm questioning Jr.," Lois replied. "Mom, I know everything about him. Jr. hasn't kept anything from me. You will either accept us or not. If you don't, then don't come to the wedding," Brooklyn said. "You don't mean that," Lois protested. "Yes, I do. I'm not the same person I was before I came here. I have changed." "Yes, you have. I just want you happy," Lois said. "I am, Jr. makes me happy," Brooklyn responded. "Then I will support you both," Lois said. "You won't regret it," Jr. added.
At Laura and Kevin's, Laura was talking to Nikolas. "So, Nikolas, anything new with you?" "Yes, Gia and I are together again," he said. "Oh, that's wonderful!" "Thanks. I just hope this time we get it right." "Me too. I want you happy."
