At Gia and Liza's law office, Gia was setting up her office when Josslyn walked in. "Josslyn, why did you want to meet me? I thought you changed your mind about the custody case," Gia asked. "No, I decided my siblings need me. They are my last connection to my mother, and Donna, and I want to raise the twins," Josslyn replied. "It's not going to be easy; you're just the sister, and they have a father who loves them," Gia said. "I'm sure AJ does, but he is an alcoholic," Josslyn responded. "If AJ stays sober, the court wouldn't take a child from him," Gia added. "I wish you would take on this case. I also need to contest my father's will. He left most of his fortune to his ex-wife, Skye Quartermaine. I should get it," Josslyn said. "Do you have a copy of it?" Gia asked. "Yes," Josslyn replied, pulling out the will from her purse as Alexis entered. "What's going on?" Alexis asked. "I hired Gia as my lawyer. I want to contest my father's will," Josslyn explained. "Josslyn, it's not going to be easy," Alexis warned. "No, but I'll do it," Gia said. "Thanks, I'll see you soon," Josslyn said, and she left. "Gia, I saw Jax's will. He wants Skye to have the company, and he left a trust fund for Josslyn," Alexis informed Gia. "I'm sure it's not going to be easy; plus, she wants to fight for custody of the twins," Alexis added. "I have a feeling that would be coming. Can you handle it?" Gia asked. "Yes, I handled the Quartermaines before," Alexis replied. "Yes, you have. Why did you want me to come?" Gia asked. "I hired Liza Colby as a partner, and we would like you to be a senior partner," Gia proposed. "Alexis, you are the best lawyer I know," Gia added. "Alright, I'll join your practice," Alexis agreed as Liza entered. "What's going on?" Liza asked. "Alexis is joining us," Gia answered. "That's wonderful," Liza said.
At the Quartermaine Mansion – Skye was in the nurse's room with AJ, watching the twins sleep. "Can I do this? Raise them?" AJ asked. "Yes, and you're not alone. I'm here for you, and the family is too," Skye assured him. "Thank you," AJ responded. "You're welcome. I should go; Lorenzo wants to talk." "About what?" AJ inquired. "I'm going to be a grandmother. Alana is pregnant," Skye revealed. "No," AJ exclaimed. "Yes, I was afraid this would happen. That's why we went to Paris to stop them, but it almost ruined our lives! You were in a coma, I had a burn on me—I still have scars—and Harrison is dead—all for nothing," Skye explained. "Do you feel better?" AJ asked. "Yes, I'm just so angry," Skye admitted. "I get it, but Alana needs you, and she didn't cause the plane to crash," AJ reassured her. "No," Skye agreed.
