Family Shattered Part 3, Chapter 2
At General Hospital—AJ lay in bed, trying to piece everything together when Skye entered.
"Skye, what's going on? Why am I in the hospital?" he asked.
"AJ, you've been in a coma for almost a year now," she replied.
"What happened?" he questioned.
"We were in a plane crash. You ended up in a coma, I got burns, and Harrison died," Skye explained.
"No," AJ said.
"Yes, unfortunately. I was so worried you wouldn't wake up—you're my best friend," Skye said.
"You're my best friend too. What about my child with Carly?" AJ asked.
"You had twins, and I just found out she died in a car accident," Skye answered.
"Oh, am I supposed to be sad that I'll raise the twins without her?" he wondered.
"No," Skye replied as Michael entered.
"Father, I'm so glad you're awake," Michael said.
"Me too. Skye was telling me about Carly. I'm sorry she died," AJ said.
"Me too," Michael agreed.
"You can come home today," Skye announced.
"Great," AJ replied.

Lorenzo was at home drinking coffee when Alexis arrived.
"Why are you here?" Lorenzo asked.
"You're going to do me a favor," Alexis said.
"Why?" Lorenzo inquired.
"Because I'm a witness to you killing Olivia Jerome," she explained.
"I had to save you," Lorenzo admitted.
"Yes, and I'm grateful—even to you—but I need you to find Luis; he killed my daughter," Alexis pleaded.
"I've been looking for my nephew too. He needs to be stopped. He's just like his father," Lorenzo responded.
"Yes, but I want him alive. I want to look at him," Alexis said.
"Alright, I'll fill you in," Lorenzo agreed.
"Good," she said.
"Who knew we'd be working together?" Lorenzo remarked.
"Yes," Alexis replied and left.

At Gia's law office—Gia was in her office when Liza entered.
"Liza, why are you here?" Gia asked.
"I'd like to be your partner," Liza stated.
"Why?" Gia asked.
"Because I'm a great lawyer, and you know that," Liza replied.
"I've read your case—you're a shark," Gia said.
"So are you," Liza shot back.
"Thanks. Yes, you can join the practice," Gia agreed.
