At Alan's hotel, Martin was in the dining room waiting for Lucy when Carolyn came by. "Martin, may I join you? I hate eating alone," Carolyn asked, sitting down. "Carolyn, I'm meeting someone here. She should be here soon." "Will I keep you company?" Carolyn said as Lucy came by. "Martin, sorry I'm late. Carolyn, why are you here?" "Just talking to Martin; I'll go." "He's taken," Lucy said. "Yes, I see," Carolyn replied and left as Lucy sat down. "She wants you." "Too bad, I like you." "Yes, you do."
Laura and Gia were having breakfast together. "Laura, I'm surprised you called me to join you." "I want to get to know you better now that you and Nikolas are back together." "I want that, too. I'm not the same person I was." "No, you are grown-up, and so is Nikolas. I haven't seen him happy since Emily, and I hope you can make him happy." "Me too." "Are you settled in town now?" "Yes, I opened my law firm with Alexis and Liza Colby." "That's great." "Yes, I have a feeling we will be a successful firm here in town." "Yes."
At Craze, Blair was at her desk working on the computer, trying to come up with some financial solutions when Nina entered. "Blair, you look stressed." "I'm—Craze is in financial trouble. If I don't get any, we will have to close." "I can help with that. I'll put up some funds." "Why would you do that?" "Because I like this magazine, and I want to keep it." "Thanks."
