At Adam's house, Lila Rae was about to leave when Alana entered, visibly upset about what she saw at the warehouse.
"Alana, what is it?" I asked. "We have to keep our family safe, and the only way is to make sure Daddy goes to jail or just goes away," Alana said.
"Alana, do you know what could happen if Daddy goes to jail? He could be killed." "Yes, I know. I just wanted to keep us safe. I followed him to the warehouse today." "Why?" "Because I want to." He was holding Julian against his will and pointed a gun at him.
"Alana, I understand why you want to keep our family safe. I want that too, but are you sure about this? A new mobster will take over." "How do we destroy the business so no one can take it over?" Alana asked.
"I don't know. Why don't we go see Mother?" "Alright." "Don't tell Mother any of this," I added.
"I wouldn't."
At the hospital, Dorian was talking to Patrick about Blair's recovery.
"This is the best rehab center for Blair," I said.
"Thank you, Dr. Drake. You are a wonderful doctor," Patrick responded.
"Thanks, Dr. Lord. I'm sure you were great too," I replied.
"Yes, I just sometimes wouldn't follow the rules." "To save a patient, it's the only way sometimes," I added.
"Yes," I nodded. Just then, Rae came by.
"Dr. Drake, how is my daughter?" Rae asked.
"Skye is going to be alright. She can go home soon," I said.
"Isn't that nice! My niece has to go to rehab, but your daughter just gets to go home and be free," Rae said.
"My daughter isn't free from this. She will never be free," I responded.
"I agree. She needs to leave him," Rae said.
"Yes," I agreed.
At Skye's room, Skye was in bed when Rae entered.
"Mother," Skye said.
"Skye, are you feeling okay?" I asked.
"Yes, I can't wait to go home," Skye replied.
"Skye, whose home are you going to? The Quartermaines or Lorenzo?" Rae inquired.
"Lorenzo is my home. Mother, I know you're worried about me, but I'll be okay," Skye insisted.
"Skye, I'm not having this conversation anymore," I said.
