Realizing that he's probably overstayed the time Kenneth told him to return, Reid looks at the door. He's about to shift and fix his clothing, making it look less obvious that they'd just been—doing whatever they were doing. It's not clear. He was aroused, expecting to get off, and now his stomach hurts from how hard he'd been laughing.
But he never rises because a hand is suddenly clutching his jaw and he's being kissed. Being, because he's hardly given quarter to reciprocate, hard and unyielding, shoving his head into the bedding and stealing his breath like it's a precious thing to be coveted.
With spit-slick lips, Lucas pulls away, looking smug, cheeks flushed but not as deep as Reid's surely tomato-red face. Lucas looks to be on the edge of speaking, but then his eyes widen as Reid's fingers grasp a fistful of the man's messy hair and drag him back, giving Lucas a soft gasp that the man devours with enthusiasm.
These lips aren't soft and pliable like the vampire earlier this evening; these are dominating the rhythm, manly, fighting, like Reid would put up a worthy enough offence to warrant being pinned to the bed with Lucas's blanketing body, shifting and pressing flush.
He won't.
Reid's mind strays to thoughts of fiery red tresses and begins to wonder as he takes fistfuls of Lucas's hair in both hands and tugs. What would Rowan's hair feel like to grasp? The rumbling growl the violence has his adrenaline pumping.
