Aurora woke up with her whole body feeling like she'd been hit with tons of bricks . She groaned from the aches and when she finally struggled to open her eyes, she saw that she was in an unfamiliar room then the memories came rushing back and she recalled her horrible experience from the night before and how she got here. She sat up and winced from the pain that shot through her shoulder. She got down from the bed and proceed to the bathroom where she brushed her teeth before heading to the kitchen to look for Jason.

As she got to the bottom of the stairs, she perceived an aroma that smells like chicken Soup with spices, her mouth watered and she sighed. She got to the kitchen and was met with Jason in a black sweater. "Good morning" she cleared her throat

"Morning, feeling better?" he questioned turning around from his cooking

"Yes, very much. Thanks. Did you cook all these? they smell delicious"

"No, i didn't"

"Oh, i saw you sti..."

"I met them already cooking themselves  when I woke up" Jason said as he turned off the cooker and began serving the breakfast he made.

Aurora scratched her head at his sarcastic response before moving to where he was and stretching her hand out to help him serve.

"What are you doing?" He grabbed her hands

"I'll feel bad if you do everything yourself. I already feel bad enough for troubling you" she said while looking up at him

"I don't need your help, I'm almost done so just take your seat before you collapse again. I don't know your preference so I made a little bit of everything and the soup is to get a little heat in your body, you probably have a cold from the rain last night" she pouted and sat on a chair opposite him. Jason looked at what he was serving before saying

"Okay, I'll let you wash the plates if you want to do something that bad". She smiled a little as her face was still stiff from the night before.

"Thank you, I'm not really picky with food. These will do just fine and I'm not that weak just so you know"

"Shut up and eat" Jason said as he grabbed a seat and began eating . He looked at the girl who was looking at the food with a greedy eyes. He couldn't blame the poor girl, she's been through a lot. She was already asleep by the time the doctor arrived last night but he still did the checkup without waking her up and left some drugs he brought with him. The doctor was a good friend of his so he did the checkup twice to be sure of everything.

She was now stuffing the toast bread in her mouth with one hand and with the other, she used a fork to put the omelette in her mouth while she chewed it and closed her eyes, to savour the taste. He already called his Secretary, Marcus to find out what happened to her last night and he reported back to him the details of the kidnapping and how she ended up where he saw her. Poor thing, she had no idea that her kidnap was contracted by a girl from her class that she insulted.

Jason looked at her and saw that her face was looking much better than last night except for a few marks and a bandage on her cheeks. By now, she'd brought the bowl of soup to her mouth and drank it all in one go. His let out a small laugh while his mouth curved up in an amused smile. He thought the way she ate was funny.

Aurora placed the bowl on the table and looked back at him to say "they are all delicious, have you ever worked as a maid before?"

Jason chocked on his tea and stuttered "a-a maid, me?"

"Yes, you know, like a house boy? You are good at all these things; your cooking is great and you didn't even make a mess in the kitchen after cooking, you tidied up the bed very well yesterday, and you cleaned my cuts well. You know those are something someone who's a maid or who had worked as a maid before would know how to do even though in your case, it isn't a house boy rather a house man, you know cause you're huge" Aurora grinned at her small joke before dabbing her mouth with a paper towel. She raised her head to see him staring at her with his mouth parted slightly.
