Lea didn't say anything and just collected their packaged goods and led Aurora out to the car. She looked at Aurora who was lost in thought and was just starting ahead of her blankly. She knew Aurora needed time to collect her thoughts because she looked like she'll have a break down back there. She thought of something to cheer her up and she said the first words that crossed her mind.
"It's so unfortunate you pulled me away, i would have scratched the plastic off her face" lea said in an attempt to make Rory smile
"No doubt miss good crazy. I don't want to have you dragged into my family's problems" Aurora said with a sad smile
"Miss good crazy?" Lea was confused
"Yes, the nickname stays" Aurora grins
Lea thought then finally figured what Aurora was talking about. She let out laugh, shaking her shoulders and holding her stomach from how hard she laughed. She raised her head up and see Aurora looking at her with a blank expression. She felt bad
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't even ask how you are doing and I'm laughing away like a crazy woman. Sorry" lea said in a low voice, almost a whisper
"It's okay"
"How are you feeling? Do you want to beat someone up, drink our sorrows away or eat junk foods?" Lea asked
"I'm fine. Just a little uhh....mad, maybe sad, annoyed too. I don't really know"
"It's okay to not know how you're feeling. If it makes you feel better, i don't know how I'm feeling right now. We're on the same boat"
"I'm pretty sure you're angry and thinking of ways to get back at Lydia" Aurora said
"Yea, who am I Kidding? I'm really getting that best friend of the year price huh?" Lea asked feeling guilty
"Don't beat yourself up too much. At least I feel better now"
"The first line is supposed to be mine" lea whispers but then said "So... junk foods??"
"Yea, let's eat junk foods please" Aurora said pushing all the bad thoughts at the back of her mind before getting into the car and fastened her seat belt
"Okay then"
Both girls were silent during the ride before lea asked
"Are you okay? I know I've asked this before but I just need to ask again"
"I'm fine lea. I guess I just wasn't expecting to see her and it just was total chaos back there. I haven't seen my little sister in years and I get we never really did have a sisterly bond but I at least expected that she'd be more mature and won't hold any grudge towards me. I just feel so........heartbroken when I see the look on both of their faces" Aurora said rubbing her temples before leaning tiredly against the car seat. Lea pulled over to the side of the road before replying Aurora
"Listen, i may not know how you feel but what I do know is that your mother is a liar and a manipulator.....no offence. She never did really like you for whatever reason best known to her and of course she'd try to turn you sister against you. You and Aurelia never really did have that sister to sister relationship. You were the rebellious, proud older sister who left her parents while she's the great daughter, the ultimate dream kid, the typical mommy's girl who's great at the piano and what not..." Lea stopped to take a break then continued "the main point is none of none of that matters. Your mother treated you like shit because she didn't like your features, her own daughter. They were not there for you when you needed them and you did well on your own, you're a graduate with a great career ahead of her. You don't need them then and you definitely don't need them now. You deserve everything great the world has to offer, and they deserve to eat....well, melted snow" the last line made Aurora smile
Silence then a little laughter
"Water?"
"Yea, water"
"And that is a bad thing?" Aurora teased
"Well, i just said the first thing that came to my mind" lea laughed
"Yea, i get your point. Thanks for being an amazing friend" Aurora smiled
"Don't thank me, make me one of your famous recipes" lea wiggled her eyebrows
"Famous?"
"Whatever. Just make me a meal later please" Aurora said as she turned on the ignition and drives towards Aurora's house.

"Yes, ma'am. It's in three days........Okay....I missed you guys too.......I'll come to visit......Yes grandmother.......I eat well....she's fine....Ok, call me when you land in the country....ok, bye"
"What'd she say?" Lea asked
"Well, she and grandfather are coming back for my graduation ceremony. Said they can't afford to miss it"
"That's great. Are they done touring?"
"Nope, they have covered a few places in Africa, they'll go back after a while but for now, they're coming back home" Aurora said as she went back to designing the Lea's dress.
The girls had gotten home few hours ago and as planned, they had a lot of junk foods lea brought from Spain while chatting and planning how they'll design Aurora's new studio. Now it's night and they'd eaten dinner. Aurora's in the studio in her house cutting the fabrics after getting Lea's measurements when she received a call from her grandma who called to inform her she'd be in the country soon for her graduation.
"She sends her regard" Aurora said while showing lea a rough sketch for the design she had in mind
"Ok, i miss her actually"
"Her or her foods"
"Well both" lea said in a 'duh' tone
"It's an halter neck" Aurora said pointing at the design
"Yea I love halter necks, it's going to come out so gorgeous. I can't wait to wear it" lea squealed
"Ok ma'am"
"You'll come out to be a great designer Rory. I know that. And when you finally get your studio ready and release your first batch of dresses, you'd better let me be your model" lea said with a dreamy look
"Ok, we've gone over this before. I'll let you be my model if I can afford you" Rory said with a smile
"No need to be modest Rory. I know the great Aurora Rosette is loaded"
Aurora just smiled at her friend's words before going back to sewing the dresses.
