Heads turned to look at the two gorgeous women who just got out of the limo. Surely, it's not because of the limo since it's not the first limo parked there, due to the school being populated with the rich and popular, there were various fancy cars but the women who just got out of this limo were the center of the attention, they knew it and they basked in it.
Aurora and lea walked with their chins up and head high keeping a slight smile on their face especially as they came across their course mates who waved at them. They both walked with the massive number of people who were heading towards the hall where the programme was about to start.
They were flooded with people who wanted to either say hi or wanted to take pictures. The socialite women and graduating students took a pause to look at both women. Sure they expected nothing less than a gorgeous dress form the young miss of the Carmans due to her being a model and associated with different brands but these, the dresses the two ladies wore were more than their expectations. And they all wondered from which brand the dresses are from. They all want something similar. Typical ways of the socialites
They attended to a selected few who were lucky enough and as the wondering women asked about the clothes brand, lea didn't answer them as she didn't know if Rory has decided on a brand name yet. So she just told them she'd post the brand's name later in the night.
Lea took out her phone when she saw it flashing, she saw the text from her brother saying that he's arrived with their parents. She squealed and grabbed aurora's hands to pull her from the crowd as she stood up on her toes looking around for her family. As soon as she saw her father, she rushed towards him for a hug
"Hey dad, hey mum" she greeted with a smile
"Hey baby girl. Congratulations Azalea, we're all proud of you and I'm so excited to be here to witness the graduation of my favorite daughter" Lea's mother said as she joined the hug. Lea's father patted her back as a way of saying great job
"Mum, I'm your only daughter" lea smiled
"Yea, I didn't put that right. What I meant to say was my favorite child" Lea's mother smiled as she glanced back at her son who sent her a playful scowl
"Ouch, that hurts mum" Tyrone said as he stepped forward before opening his arms, he said "get in here lea. I missed you so much"
Lea didn't miss the opportunity as she walked towards him and gave him a tight hug. She wrapped her arms around his waste as he brushed her hair. "I missed you too Tyrone"
"It's so nice to see you again. You've Changed so much. look at you, looking beautiful, dressed in a graduation gown. My little sister is not so little again huh, what to do? You're even almost as tall as me, is it because of the heels" Tyrone said as they pulled out of the hug
"Talk about change, you're the one who changed Tyrone. You dyed your hair blonde. Oh my God! And you didn't tell me, your favorite sister"
"Well, i wanted to surprise you. I know you've always told me to try different styles and hair colours, so I thought 'why not start from bonde?' It goes well with my job"
"Well, you plan worked because I'm surprised, you look more handsome than the last time I saw you. Asia been doing you good?" Lea asked
"Well, i can't say it's not" Tyrone said with a smirk
"Okay, we'll talk about that later. Let's focus on celebrating me and Rory" lea said as she turned her head to her side only to realize rory's not there. She looked around, confused
"Wait, wh-where is she? We were just together no.....Oh, there she is" lea said as she saw Rory who's back was turned to them standing a few distance away. She looked like she was receiving a call as she spoke into her phone
Lea walked towards her with a questioning look on her face. Aurora dropped the call she was having and said "sorry about that, let's go"
"Wait, who was it? You were frowning while speaking on the phone" lea questioned
"It's nothing, I'll tell you later. Let's not ruin the mood" Aurora said with a not so real smile as she pulled lea by the wrist and dragged her towards her parents. She knew lea didn't buy her excuse so she'd have to explain later but for now, she'll celebrate her win
"Hey, Aurora. It's been so long since I saw you last, how have you been" Lea's mother asked as she pulled her into a hug
"Hi mama, I've been fine thanks for asking. I ask about you from lea everyday, did she tell you guys?" Aurora asked
"She does most times"
"That's great" Aurora smiled
"Congratulations Aurora, we're proud of you both" Lea's father said as he patted her hair
"You girls look stunning. I want to hear all about your dress after this alright" Lea's mother said as she look at their dresses. She knew about Aurora's designs and she knew these ones were part of those designs
"Yea, alright mom, Just go seat down. Sit where I'll be able to see you after okay? We have to take some pictures later" lea said as she directed her parents towards the place meant for the audience
"Finally, i get to greet you. I thought they wouldn't leave you alone with all of that" Tyrone said as azalea gave him a bright smile and hugged him
"It's been a while. How are you?" Aurora asked as she looked up at him
"I'm doing well, even better after seeing your face" Tyrone teased. He was busy looking at her when she was greeting his parents and he realized she'd changed so much. She's more beautiful now, from her hair to the way she carries herself gracefully.
"Well, nice chat and all guys but we have to go. Go sit with mum and dad or familiarize yourself with people. We'll see you later okay, it's time for roll call" lea interrupted their chat and led Aurora to the place where the graduants were sitting.
The vice chancellor came out to address the parents and congratulate the graduants. Each student was called to come and collect their certificate. With each calling of students, there were camera lights flashing and an applause. It was the occasion of the best college in city x, the school for the socialites, upper class and the rich. Of course reporters are going to be there to capture the moment and fashion reporters were there to rate their dressing.
"Azalea Carman" the Dean called when it reached her turn. She turned towards Rory who beamed at her before standing up to go and collect her certificate. She shook hands with the Dean and smiled brightly at the camera. As she walked back to her seat, she caught sight of Cameron who was among the people who stood up to clap for her. She smiled at him but then realized that if Cameron was there, then Alex too was present.
She sat down beside Aurora who gave her a tight hug. She choose not to say anything about Alex and just focus on the ceremony. After a few hugs and congratulations to her course mates whose names were called, she heard the name she wanted to hear
"Aurora Rosette" Aurora smiled at lea and stood up. She walked gracefully towards the Dean who gave her her certificate and shook her hands. She walked back towards her seat and looked at the crowd, she saw her grandparents who smiled at her, well...her grandmother who smiled at her while her grandfather just gave her a nod, Tyrone who cheered for her, Lea's parents and Cameron who smiled at her. She was dissapointed for not seeing the face she so badly missed and wanted to see for a couple of days now. She sucked it up and smiled at her friends who congratulated her. What she didn't notice was someone's heavy gaze and lingering stare on her back as she sat.
