The next morning after Aurora woke up, she went to the kitchen hoping for breakfast but Jason didn't prepare anything "Good morning" she walked towards him
"Morning, why are you looking worn out?" Jason asked while doing his tie
"I don't know, i just feel fatigued. I'm hungry, won't you make breakfast?"
"What am I, your maid? I'm not even surprised since you already view me as a maid" Jason scoffed
"I already apologized for that. I'm too tired to cook and didn't you say that you'll take care of me yesterday? Well, feeding is a way of taking care of someone mister" Aurora huffed
"I didn't say I'll take care of you"
"Hnmm, you kinda did when you said I should stay here cause there's no one to take care of me. That literally means that I should stay here cause you're here to take care of me"
"Whatever, get dressed. We're going out for breakfast and also to get you some clothes. I can't have you stealing all my clothes after hogging all my food"
"I don't have something suitable for breakfast at a restaurant and I don't want to go out there, what if those guys are still lurking around?" Aurora said with a nervous look while she bit her lip
"You'll be fine. I already told Mark to file a case of kidnap at the police station and they'll be apprehended soon." Jason looked at the girl, she looked scared to her bones and he didn't want to tell her that he'd found out about that person that caused the kidnap and he has his men apprehend the person
"I should ask you, do you want to file for a case?" Jason asked
"yes, I guess, i don't know. I don't want the stress of going to police station multiple times and giving statements. They might not even believe me since my injuries are almost healed and I got out of there by myself. I just don't want them coming for me again" Aurora said while she rubbed her arms up and down
"You'll be fine, i promise, just go get dressed. It's just for breakfast, not a date" Jason teased as a way to get her mind off the kidnappers
Aurora scoffed and shook her head "Like I'd even go on a date with you, you wish, jacey. Now I'll need a white shirt of yours and two belts. That'll do"
"Jacey?? Where did that come from?"
"I don't know, just felt like calling you that. You're so cute" Aurora looked at him and smiled
"Oohkayy, you are weird. What are you going to do with two belts by the way?" Jason asked
"I'm gonna work magic my darling. You see, I'm a fashion designer and I can make decent clothes out of pretty much anything. You give me a big shirt, I'll turn it into a pretty gown and I'll just use the belts as a corset. See, improvisation!" Aurora smirked
"Okay, shortie. I don't understand any of what you just said now. Just go get dressed and let's go"
"Shortie?? Where'd that come from" she exclaimed
"Well darling, since we're giving each other Nick names, i figured you needed one too aoind I found the perfect one" it's now Jason's turn to smirk
"Hmph, just for the record, I'm not that short" Aurora huffed as she walked up the stairs towards the guestroom where she stays"
"Yea, whatever helps you sleep at night darling" Jason said as he replied some necessary emails in his laptop while sitting on the dining table
"I heard that!" Aurora stopped her foot hard on the stairs
Jason chuckled and looked up at the girl who had entered the room. She's doing much better than the previous days but she's still scared of going out. She'd been wearing his clothes since she'd been in his house. Not that he minded it. If anything, he loved seeing her small self in his big clothes. She looks adorable in his clothes. His lips curved up in a smile at how cute she was and he continued working on his laptop.
