"Who's Alex?" Aurora asked as she walked over to meet lea and Cameron
"Uhmm...That guy" lea replied as Cameron went to meet Jason and have him a bro hug.
"Hey man, i was actually surprised when I tracked her location down here. I was starting to think you sold the estate. We still talked few days ago and you didn't tell me you were keeping a lady here and she's even my girl's best friend" Cameron said with a grin before he winked at Aurora who looked confused at the sudden familiarity
"You know him...You too?" Aurora asked surprised as she faced Lea and Cameron
"Yes girl, he's Cameron's friend. How did you end up in his place and not even in his main mansion but his secluded residence here?" Lea asked facing Aurora
"Long story lea. Something happened and he helped me when I needed a break from it all, he told me I can stay I his place for some time. wait....main mansion? He has a mansion....You have a mansion? I guess they pay you well there, I'll really appreciate if you put in a good word for me to your boss Alex. I don't mind working at Chen Corps" Aurora said purposely emphasising the name while grinning at Jason who responded with a smile and a playful eyeroll
"What boss? He's the Boss" Cameron said smiling
"Hmm.. I know, he's the head of a department at Chen Corps" Aurora replied casually dismissing the look of confusion on Lea's face
"Head of department?...woah Rory, he's no head of department, he's the CEO of Chen Corporations baby girl" lea said. Aurora lip downturned into a frown as a look of disbelief crossed her face.
"W-what?" She stuttered as she turned to face Jason whose expression looks calm on the outside but he really wants to give Jason a good slap to the face for rattling him out
"You don't know....he didn't tell you? you didn't tell her? Cameron said as he looked at rory then at Jason who still had that annoyingly calm expression on his face
"He's the CEO rory, Mr Alexander Jason Chen in flesh and it appears you've lived with him without knowing his identity...oh you have so much explanation to do" lea said with a smirk as Aurora uses both of her hands to cover her face reminiscing all the embarrassing things she'd done in front of him and how she'd called him a maid and called him different nicknames
"Oh, i-i don't know what to say" Aurora said in a low voice
"Where you even planning to tell her that you're the boss and not some department manager? Why did you even lie to her in the first place?" Cameron asked
"I knew I'd tell her sooner or later but due to the circumstance that we met, i couldn't just reveal my identity to a stranger" Jason replied Cameron before he faced Aurora and held her shoulder " Aurora you don't have to say anything. You can still call relate with me as you used to. Nothing changes okay?"
"Oh no, everything changes. How could I not recognize him. I've been horrible to him lea" Aurora exclaimed as she buried her face in her palm. "I called him a maid a..a..and I bragged about my family's money not knowing he can easily buy my family's net worth "
"Hey, hey girl calm down now. It's not your fault you don't recognize him. It's his fault for not telling you"
"I'm so sorry for everything I've said that might've annoyed you an..and...I'm just so sorry" Aurora stuttered as she faced Jason who sighed in frustration and at the thought that she might treat him differently or try to distance herself from him now that she knows his identity
"Seriously, you don't have to apologize, you didn't do anything okay. I'll prefer if you don't change how you treat me from now on"
"Well, that's easy to say Ja..Mr Chen. Thanks for everything, I'll be in the car outside....wallowing in my foolishness" Aurora mumbled the last part as she left the house and went outside to the car she recognises as Cameron's
"Seriously? Why do you both have to say anything?" Jason said as he faced the couple
"What, she's gonna know sooner or later and I think sooner is better. We have to go, I'll reach out when she's all settled in her house" Cameron said as he led lea out of Jason's house.
Jason stared at the back of the retreating couple and let out a sigh out of annoyance thinking about how his life will go back to how it was before he met Aurora- the same normal boring routine. For some reason that thought disturbed him.

Throughout the car ride, no words were said as the couple left Aurora to her thoughts thinking it's better to give her the space she needs to think. Only a few words were exchanged from Cameron to Aurora when he asked her how she was faring which she replied to with 'horrrible' which led Cameron to assure her that Jason won't do anything to her even though he isn't very fond of people and he hates when people intrude his privacy, since he was the one who chose to accommodate her without telling her his identity, he won't do anything to her.
The car pulled up at Aurora's house after an hour of driving.
"Hey, will you guys be fine?" Cameron asked as he got out of the car
"Yea, we'll be fine. I'll stay over at hers tonight" lea assured him
"Thanks so much Cameron, i really appreciate your help" Aurora said with a smile
"It's okay. Just don't stress yourself and you'll be fine, I'll leave now. Bye babe" Cameron said as he hugged lea who gave him a light kiss before entering the car and zooming off
"Come on, let's go in" lea said holding Aurora's hand as they went inside her house. Aurora felt uncomfortable in a way as she looked at her house and the memories from that unfortunate night came rushing back
"Hey, Rory-rory earth to Aurora. Are you okay? You spaced out just now" lea said as she snapped two fingers in front of Aurora's face
"I'm fine...I guess it's just that this place feels strange and I can still remember what happened that night vividly. I didn't think I'd ever make it back here."
"Seriously, girl you gotta explain, what happened here when I wasn't around?" Lea asked worriedly as she pulled Aurora on a couch to sit.
"A lot happened and I don't know where to start" Aurora said walking over to the fridge
"You don't know where to start, really?" Lea replied, sarcasm dripping from her voice
"W-well, i know where to start. I'm just scared you'll get mad at me for not telling you sooner. Why is my fridge fuller than when I left it" Aurora asked as she opened her fridge which was full of basic foodstuffs
"Well, i brought some souvenirs from spain and when came here when I arrived in the country to look for you and imagine my surprise when I met an empty, dirty house and you're not here so I got people to clean this place and just stuffed everything I brought inside there" lea replied
"Souvenirs? Who brings foodstuffs as souvenirs?"
"Well, me. Get over it and get to explaining what happened already. I know this is your way of distracting me from asking about what happened"
"I really hoped you'll fall for that"
"Nah, girl. Now, spill"
"Okay, I'll need a drink for this" Aurora said as she took a wine out of the fridge and two glasses, handing one over to lea before pouring the wine inside the glass. She downed the glass in a go as she began explaining.
