There were low murmurs and an annoying faint ringing in Aurora's ears as she squinted her eyes open only to shut them back and groan from the heaviness she felt on her head. She tried moving her hands only to see her hands and legs bound to the chair she was sitting on. She looked around the room she was and saw that there were many cartons and packs of beer and cigarette on the floor, that explains the awful smell wafting in the air, Aurora thought as she scrunched up her nose in disgust. There was only a small window that welcomed the light the moon has to offer to give the room a bit of colour.
As she heard voices that were getting nearer, she closed her eyes and pretended to sleep while she heard what the guys were saying "Hey why is she not waking up yet, are you sure she's not dead?"
"She's not dead you idiot, boss just hit her a bit too hard"
"Yea, he shouldn't have hit her that hard, she already looked frail enough like she'd collapse any time soon. Little rich kids who won't eat good foods but rather engage in some Keto shit that'd make them look thinner like they've got all the burdens of life on their shoulder"
"I just hope that her parents will corporate and release the ransome and we won't have to kill her"
"Eheh, don't you know that those socialites tend to make big deals out of nothing, her parents will corporate and if they don't then I sure as hell am going to take my time and have fun with her. She a real beaut"
Aurora felt hands running up her thighs and she felt repulsed and snapped her eyes open to glare at the face in front of her
"Oh look what we have here, the dumb rich girl awakens after a long slumber, we all thought you was dead" the guy who touched her said with a smirk
"Really, cause I'd rather be dead than be in the same room as you fools. What do you want? Who sent you"
"Don't worry princess, I'll have your wish granted if your parents do not corporate with us. And about what we want, we just want a few millions out of your parents money. Your parents sure made a hell lot of money at the event they held last week now they won't mind giving the money to charity would they ?"
Aurora let out a small laughter "trust me if it's money that y'all want, then you've got the wrong girl here. They won't care what happens to me and they surely won't even give a dime of what you guys requested. How many days have I been here, this position is killing me"
"It's only a day rich girl. If your parents won't respond to our requests then we'll have our fun with you. It's not everyday you see a socialite's daughter at your service" the boss said while rubbing his palms together and spotting a creepy grin on his face
"Boss, you have a message from the girl's parents, they requested proof" a guy called out to the boss and he proceeded to leave the room with a few of the guys.
Aurora looked around and there were only three guys remaining and one is looking sleepy, the second stood by the door while the third one came to her and started feeling her body in places that are not appropriate. Aurora looked at him smirking and bit his hand hard that he screamed which made him slap her twice that her mouth began to bleed before he huffed and walked away angrily then she made her move
Aurora already loosened the rope that got loose when the guy was running his hands around her body and freed her hands. She did a flip and slammed herself right at the guy's back causing the chair to break into pieces giving her the liberty to free her legs.
The guy recovered quickly and lunged towards her while Aurora took the gun of the guy who was asleep and felt her hands weigh down with the weight of the gun wow, guns are heavy or maybe because she's just weak at the moment. She fired a shot at the guy who dodged it making Aurora throw the gun right at his face and she could've sworn she heard a bone crack. While the guy looked down at his nose, she ran towards the door and made into what looked like a warehouse passage with doors on opposite sides of the passage.
She was thankful for the heavy rain that shielded the sounds from getting out because she had no doubt the other guys would come running once they hear shots being fired. She peeked from behind a door and saw the main entrance to the warehouse being guarded. As she heard multiple footsteps making their way towards her, she panicked and randomly opened a door and entered the room behind her while she held her breath and waited for the men to walk away. After a moment, she heard faint yelling over the heavy rainsound and decided now would be the best time to make a move for it so she came out of the room and proceeded towards the entrance while she sneaked up on the guy that was guarding the main entrance and hit him with a gun she picked up from the room she just came out from. While the guy staggered from the force she used to hit him, she made a move and dashed out of the place running bare-footed stumbling over woods and stones in where seems to be surrounded by trees and hills. She figured the place they brought her to was a secluded area.
Aurora didn't dare to look back as she was still hearing heavy footsteps chasing after her while shooting. She managed to dodge the shots but she got scrapped on the shoulder and started bleeding. She started feeling lightheaded and clutched her shoulder while biting her lips to stop her from crying from the horrible pain. Aurora felt something tear her foot like a tree branch and she fell and toppled over while hitting her face with whatever her face came in contact with while getting beaten by the rain.
She stood up after holding onto a tree trunk to stop her from rolling over more and started running again before she came in contact with a tarred road and saw the headlights of a car from afar, she cried from relief and ran towards the car unsteadily almost getting hit by the car that came to an abrupt stop while she waved her hands madly in front of the car squinting her eyes from the bright rays of light from the car's headlight.
"Please, please help me, i need a ride. Some people are chasing after me, please get me out of here" she pleaded profusely while shouting at the top of her voice. She saw the silhouette of a man who came out of the car and begged him while crying. He led her to the passenger's seat after draping his suit jacket over her before he made his way back to the driver's seat starting the car then zoomed off catching a glimpse of the men who were approaching from the forest looking around and pointing at the car.
