The next morning she set up Coco in the kennels, with food, water and toys. She completed her morning surgeries, morning admin and a couple of consultations before driving herself home to shower.

Her schedule for the afternoon was completely clear except for checking over Coco and calling the Shepherds to update them on if their family companion could return home.

She had other reasons for going home such as picking up her outfit for a date she had later that evening. He was a nice guy, with blue eyes, soft brown hair, a contained beard, light muscles, their heights very similar, he was maybe two inches taller.  

They met at a club, they flirted, Nathan had started it off,  Meredith wasn't originally attracted to him but he was a sweet guy.  They met again at a conference, he was a veterinary surgeon like her but he specialised in smaller animals.  When he asked her to go to  dinner, she agreed. Their first date ended with a peck of a kiss, this would be their second.

She chose to wear black long sleeved ribbed jumper and tartan skirt that fell just below her mid thigh, with black tights and a small black heel.

She packed her navy cami strapped bodycon dress for her date with Nathan as well as her shoes. The dress was a fair length, it fell just below her knee and held her curves perfectly. It left the perfect amount of skin on show without showing to much.

Derek however had slept until noon, very unlike him. The whole night had been strange for him. He had came home after having sex with the strange blonde from the club, fell asleep and then woke up at 5am , his pants were wet and his skin sticky. He had never in his adult years had a wet dream but that night all he dreamt of was having the gorgeous woman he had met that day wrapped around him. 

He had never wanted someone the way he was wanting her. He had only known her a day, he knew barely anything about her except her parents, her father, who she lived with growing up and that she wasn't in a relationship. He wanted her body, he wanted to know more about her, he wasn't sure why. 

He went about his usual business all day, checked in on one of his businesses, went for a run, went to the gym even though he had his home gym, he saw Mark briefly, had a meeting about David Grey and then turned up at his childhood family home where his parents still lived to pick his mum up.

Carolyn had the call from Meredith saying Coco was doing okay and she felt confident enough to let the dog go, with pain meds and a strict diet.

"I am coming"Amelia smiled. Derek rolled his eyes. Amelia had just broken up with another boyfriend, she worked as a psychiatrist at a private clinic.

"Come on then"He huffed, he was of course looking forward to seeing the vet but he wasn't looking forward to waking up in wet sheets which he knew would happen especially after seeing her. 

Meredith had hung up her outfit to quickly put on after her consultation with the Shepherds. Her hair was done as was her makeup. 

"Date with Nathan?"Cristina asked. Meredith nodded lightly. "Have you even fucked him yet, do you want to fuck him?" Cristina asked as Meredith sighned the paper work on Coco.

"We haven't fucked and I am not sure. I just..I don't know"Meredith rubbed her temple. April notified her that the Shepherds were in 4b waiting. She walked to the kennels, Coco's tail wagging instantly as Meredith approached. She had already placed the bed with the blanket and toys inside of it at reception.

She walked back down the hall, holding the purple leash. She opened the door to see Carolyn, the man who tried to pursue her and a girl who she didn't recognise.
