She sat with blood trickling from her nose, her lip had split lightly from the pressure of being thrown to the floor. He was supposed to be her father, her protector, yet now here she was in the corner of her living room with tears streaming her red cheeks.

It began with a call that morning, he sounded desperate for help. So being the girl she was she went to her father, although she hated his lifestyle and didn't hold many feelings toward him she still cared.

They met in one of his garages, only the two of them. He began nicely until he asked told her something that shocked her to the core.

"I need you too fuck a drug dealer get him the fuck off my back"

Considering he was her father he spoke as if she was a random person off the street. Of course she stood her ground and said no. Even when he begged and pleaded. She wasn't a cheap whore nor would she sell herself to get him out of trouble.

But David Grey didn't want to back down, he shouted, he spat, he growled but no matter how much aggression he showed she didn't flinch nor cave.

Which led to the harsh slap accross the face, followed by another and another until he knocked her to the ground, with a kick to her side he spat and left her on the floor wheezing in agony.

Never had she thought he would hurt her physically, Ellis had but never him, she thought he had some decency beneath it all but the moment he raised his hand all faith she had for him drowned.

She managed to pick herself back up, get to her car and drive home. Now in her safe space she let it all sink in. Her father had really hit her for not wanting to whore herself out.

Christopher Shepherd paced the living area of his home, his youngest daughter , wife and sons watching as frustrated look plastered his features.

"David Grey and Maxwell have been fucking radio silent for five days, kids are dropping like apples, women of the night are disappearing. I am lost, what the hell do I do huh?" If only he knew the reason behind the silence was due to harsh threats on their heads. "Those men are sick, the Grey men are completely and utterly deluded. They happily work alongside pedophiles, rapists, abusers" Chris ranted as his family listened.

Derek couldn't help but let his mind settle on the beautiful blonde who he had become so fond of. The blonde he hadn't spoken to in two days.

"Maxwell is a rapist himself we know that, how many girls have said that. They have everyone in their fucking pocket" Derek rubbed the stubble that sat on his cheeks.

"Can you call your blonde? The daughter? See if she is okay? I am worried now, your mother said she wasn't even at the vets for the check up this morning" Chris looked at Derek who seemed hesitant.

"I don't want to drag her into it. She doesn't live in this world dad" Chris looked at him sternly.

"Derek the men they hang around with aren't kind. I want her to know everything we know. Derek the girl needs protection from this corrupted bullshit" Derek couldn't understand why his father seemed so interested in Meredith's wellbeing. But it dawned on him quickly. Meredith was the first girl he had ever become fond of, ever spoken about to family. They wanted to protect her soul from a world of evil.

He pulled his phone out and pressed her contact, sighing hoping she wasn't going to be mad.

Meredith felt her phone buzz in her pocket, she had just changed into a pair of black jeans and a white scoop neck long sleeved body suit. She didn't feel like talking, her cheek hurt, her lip had only just stopped stinging and her side was bruising already.
