Her head pounded, her stomach felt like it was on fire and her entire body ached. She slowly opened her eyes with a light groan. A peak of the sun lit up the entire room. She couldn't put together where she was, a light sense of fear crossed over her as she looked under the blanket and realised she was in a shirt, a mans shirt. But after feeling her panties and bra were still on she settled back down laying there in silence.
A familiar male cologne filled her nostrils, instantly every inch of worry left her leaving her with light nerves. What state had she been in the night before? What had he had to deal with? She couldn't remember anything except hearing his voice.
She checked her phone that sat on the bedside unit, many messages asking if she had gone with a guy, asking if she was okay, asking if she was safe and alive. Realising it was already 10am she outstretched her arms with a yawn wincing lightly.
Opening the door she felt like she was in a maze, so many different doors, large windows but the black stair rail caught her eye. She checked herself in the full length mirror seeing that his shirt was just as long as her dress had been.
Her feet pattered against the cold steps, as she reached the bottom she could see Derek in his kitchen area, looking as handsome as ever. He wore a navy shirt and black trousers. His eyes settled on her as she approached with a nervous look on her face.
"I was about to come and check on you, take these"He handed her a glass of water with two aspirin pills.
"Thank you, for this and last night. I can't remember anything but I feel like shit"Dark cirlces had formed under her eyes, her skin had become covered in goosebumps.
"You were spiked, I am glad you called me princess. Men were watching you with hawk eyes. How are you feeling"He stepped closer to her, his hand resting on her cheek. She flinched away from him and took a step back.
"I'm sorry you had to see me that way. I should probably go"She looked ashamed of herself. "What did you see, what happened to my dress" She questioned.
"You threw up on your dress , I took it to the dry cleaners this morning. I didn't look I just cleaned you up and put a shirt on you. Wiped your mouth and took off your makeup. I do have to say you are a natural beauty" He looked her up and down.
He couldn't help but notice how silky her legs were, how her legs were slender until her thighs, her thighs and ass were as Derek would say 'juicy', he could tell even more now that her ass was perfectly rounded and tight. Her lips were plump, her eyes were full of mystery and the freckles across her cheeks brought some kind of innocent look to her face. He couldn't deny how perfect she looked standing their in his kitchen in his shirt.
"Thank you...you really didn't have too"She smiled warmly.
"I did, do you want me to drive you home?"He asked her as he took a sip of his own drink.
"I could call an uber"She suggested. Derek almost slammed his drink into the counter. He forced a laugh.
"No. An uber wearing my shirt? I will take you. Jesus Mer"He sighed. "You can put this on if you like its quite cold."He walked into his coat closet, grabbed her heels and a jumper of his own.
"Thank you, please don't tell anyone where I live...my father doesn't even know"She sighed. Derek placed an arm around her.
"I won't tell a soul. You can choose what car I drive come on"He led her to this elevator, the trip was quick. Her eyes widened, of course he had over 15 cars in there, she pointed to the matte grey audi r8.
She directed him to her home which happened to be fifteen minutes from his. Meredith watched him as he drove, how he gripped the gear stick, how his jaw clenched at slower drivers, every few moments he would look over at her.
"You have a nice place princess"Derek commented as they pulled up to the secluded white building. There were no neighbours, no shops, nothing but her home stood on that hill.
"Thanks, do you want to come up so I can give you your clothes back?"She asked. Derek smiled at her as he nodded.
He parked his car in her home garage beside her white audi a1. He followed her up the small set of steps and threw a door which led them into a hall way.
"Where are we?"He asked curiously, he could see three doors.
"That one is the bathroom, that one the spare room and this one is the main area"He followed her to the door in front of them, as it opened he was met with a beautiful area similar to his own.
A l shaped sofa in the centre of the corner of the room in front of a large tv that sat on the wall above an electric fire place. A coffee table had been placed in the space between the sofa and fireplace with a fluffy rug. There were a set of double sliding doors which led to the fenced off garden.
Her kitchen was the perfect size, her oven and microwave had been built into the kitchen layout, her fridge was large with an ice dispenser, a coffee machine and blender sat on opposite sides of the counter space her toaster and kettle were howver together. There were four stools at the breakfast bar. Derek noticed through the archway where the front door was that there was also a small spiral staircase.
"My room is up there"Meredith lightly smiled as walked over to the closet near her front door. Derek couldn't help but notice the images scattered on her walls. One was her and a dog, the one he had seen on her instagram, one with her nanna, her friends, a sad smile came to his face as he realised there wasn't one image of her and her parents.
"Mer, you okay"Derek asked noticing how still she was in the hallway.
"Yeah, just a little light headed"She mumbled, he rushed to her and his arm fell around her.
"Come on"He helped her to the sofa where they both crashed together. Her head on his chest as her head pounded. "I can't leave you this way Mer, I can't" Derek stroked her soft hair. He had never been the one for soppy romance or caring for a girl. He had never felt this before, there had never been anyone he wanted the way he wanted her, he didn't just want her he needed her. Not just in sexual ways.
He could feel everything he ever believed changing each second.
