Leo's POV

"You did what?!" Raph exclaimed.

"Listen, I think Kingston's been telling her lies about what really happened. If we can give her evidence then it's possible we could get her on our side," I said.

"She's his daughter and the sister of the psychopath who tried to kill Esme. I don't know how else to explain to you that this is a shit idea," Raph replied.

"I think it's worth a shot," Esme said.

"Hmm, I don't know Leo, she might use this as a chance to trap us," Mikey chimed in.

"Alright fine, we'll put it to a vote. Everyone who thinks we shouldn't meet up with her, raise your hands."

Raph's hand immediately shot up, shortly followed by Mikey's.

"Those in favor?"

Donnies, Esmes and my hand went up.

"Looks like you're outnumbered."

"This is ridiculous Leo, you can't actually think this is a good idea. It's like you want Kingston to kill us," Raph crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"It's like throwing sharks in blood infested water," Mikey said, shaking his head.

"Actually the phrase is throwing blood in shark infested waters," Donnie corrected him.

"Yeah, what he said," Mikey jerked his thumb in Donnie's direction.

"You have to realize the irony in this Raph," I said.

"What irony?"

"Oh I don't know, maybe the fact that this is almost exactly like your situation with Esme?" I replied.

"This is completely different Leo," Raph growled, taking a menacing step towards me, his fists clenched.

"How is it different?" I challenged him.

"It just is!"

We stared each other down for a few seconds and then I let out a sigh.

"We're doing the plan, Raph. If you're really that worried you can stay behind."

"Fine, we will," he grabbed Esme's hand and started to pull her away.

"Wait, Raph, I'm going to help them," Esme said. He stopped.

"No Esme, it's too dange-," she cut him off mid sentence.

"Whether I like it or not, I'm partially responsible for what happened to Grayson. Even if he was a shitty person he was still her brother and I want to tell her what happened. She deserves that much at least." He went silent, a look of defeat crossing his face.

"Alright, I'll help. But if I have even an inkling that something bad's going to happen, we're getting the hell out of there," he replied.

"That's fine," I smiled slightly at the two of them. Raph still had her hand in his and stood closely next to her. Ever since she had moved down here Raph had become a lot more agreeable and his blow ups wouldn't last as long. I was glad I gave her a chance and now, I had decided to give June a chance too. I just hoped this didn't blow up in my face.

"What do we need Leo?" Esme asked.

"Well, for starters, I was hoping we could find some security footage from that night," I looked over to Donnie.
